My mom owns one of the rentals next door and I’ve been going here for the past 4 years and recommending it to our renters. But after my experience Saturday I will no longer be recommending this place. The food has gone WAY down hill since I started coming to cocos And the bartenders are really rude and judgmental. DONT GO HERE

I used to really enjoy the peanut butter burger. You used to be able to order a really juicy burger cooked medium with fresh tasting beef. Now the burger meat isn’t graded to be served below “medium” and is the same quality as a frozen jack in the box patty. Additionally, the peanut butter burger I got yesterday barely had any peanut butter on it, it was floating in a pool of grease, and was cooked way past well( dry) . The only thing good about it was the English muffin bun.

I also thought the bartender was rude to me. She made me this massive drink that was spilling over the edge before she even put it down, and then got annoyed with me for it dripping on the counter while I got my cash out to pay. She Aggressively wiped it down after I picked up the drink and sighed loudly like had greatly inconvenienced her in some way. I also paid with cash and she didn’t apply the cash discount simply because she didn’t like me I guess? I felt she may have been judging me because I don’t look like the typical Hilton head guest.

Any way I used to have very fond memories of cocos but now I rather go to salty dog slightly further down the beach . I rather pay slightly more to have a more enjoyable experience. The entire experience just made me...

I'm from Charleston but my wife and I are always looking for fun spots to visit on our weekends off. We came down to Hilton Head/Bluffton area looking for a little weekend get away. Normally we just use uber eats but Cocos sounded like a fun spot to go to. So after extending our stay we stumbled upon this unique place. Great vibes, great drinks, and great food. What stood out to us most was the bartender Garrett. My wife isnt a huge drinker because she doesn't like the taste of alcohol, however Garrett recommended the "key lime coconut drink" and she loved it! She has been raving about it since Monday (now Sunday.) It was so tasty and mixed perfect unlike most drinks that are unbalanced and taste too much like straight liquor. (she still caught a buzz though!) As for me I am normally a huge Corona guy, and Garrett let me know they also serve Corona light as well after I joked I was on a diet. I didn't even know Corona light was an option but with a fresh lime you cant even tell the difference! Normally I'll check out a spot for one drink but Garrett's conversation kept us there for another, and another, and another! This is such a great spot, but what really made us stay was Garrett! His professionalism, sense of humor, sense of service, sense of urgency, his sense of everything was all you could ask for in a bartender while on vacation. We're back in Charleston now but we already have plans to go back and hopefully see Garrett on a Monday! Thank you Coco's and thank...

I had my doubts about this place when we took the long walk to the beach from Hilton Resort. We passed by to get a first glimpse of the beach and the place is very small and had a very long line. We were in Hilton Head for the weekend with some friends and decided to give it a try the next morning since it was so conveniently located where we were posted up on the beachfront. If you are not staying at the resort, the place can be a bit tricky to get to but I cannot explain how awesome this place is and we ended up going back 4-5 more times at least before that weekend was through. They have a very small staff working the register, drinks, and the kitchen area but somehow manage to keep it flowing pretty quickly all things considered. You might have to wait 15-20 minutes in line, but once it is your turn they have everything done very quickly. We were able to try the chicken sandwich, a burger, cheese fries, and several delicious drinks.

Everything we had was fantastic, but I highly recommend the grilled chicken sandwich, the cheese fries, and the peaches and dreams...

Right next to the Robert Trent Jones golf course, where it meets the beach. There are parking spots close to the entrance to the Hilton Head Resort and Tennis Club. When you start to pull in they'll make you turn around and park outside the gate. It's around a half mile walk but theres a golf cart that takes guests up also. When we first arrived, I was discouraged because there were maybe 25 people in line and 40 seated. It took 40 minutes and we were trying to keep a positive attitude. The staff were all incredible and going as fast as they could and that really made the difference for us. The pina colada Buckets are really strong, the key lime daiquiri is PHENOMENAL, and the food was the best we've had on the island. We had cheese sticks 10/10, shrimp po boy 10/10, mushroom Swiss burger 9/10, cheese sticks 10/10, chili cheese fries 9/10, our son had a plain hot dog and it was awesome too! Really superb food and although they aren't geared to handle huge crowds, they handled this huge lunch crowd perfectly and all the food was perfection!

We stopped here for lunch while going for a bike ride a long the beach. You order your food at the counter and then they call your name to pick it up. It is not even peak season an it took a while to get our food. They cook one order at a time. So if you are towards the end of the line you maybe waiting some time before you get your food. We got the peanut butter burger. It was pretty good. We had one out in AZ that had peanut butter, grape jelly and siriacha so we were reminiscing through their peanut butter burger. If you haven't tried it they are pretty good. We had it with a saw dog. That was the recommendation of the cashier as that was less expensive than getting a side. You can see the ocean from some of the seats. I personally was not comfortable sitting on the the stools at the high tops. That is a personal preference. I personally prefer a chair with a back. But it is a beach restaurant. I didn't give 5 stars for service because you are ordering, you are picking up your food and you are clearing your table.

Wonderful beach side restaurant bar. Located at the beach end of Hilton Head Resort exclusive to the guests and those who walk up from the beach nearby. Coco's has parking spaces available at the entrance of the Hilton Head Resort Villas where you can park and walk (it's a long walk) to the bar. The food is always made to order and perfect for the whole family. They have a full bar, from beers to mixed drinks and go to cocktails. Every drink is made to order. Must try the "Coco can't drive" In the evening this place is great for drinks and a great view. The staff is amazing especially when you get a chance to talk with them when they are not busy. If you are ever in the area, this place is a must try and grab a drink.
