Bruegger's Bagels — Restaurant in Hingham

I love brueggers but this location is horrible. I used to religiously order in the app and always get egg whites instead of regular eggs. I wish I could tell you the amount of times I had to turn back around to get my correct order with egg whites. Kept coming back (not sure why) and would order the same thing in store, because maybe there’s an issue with the app (even though my receipt clearly would say egg white). EVEN THEN my order has been wrong multiple times. I would understand not being able to hear but they can ask for the order to be repeated but they usually repeat the order back. Not sure why they offer egg whites if nobody knows how to make a sandwich with them. I would understand if it’s busy or if people are new but I see the same people every time and half the time there’s nobody in the store. And I’m not even talking about the multiple times I’ve been given the wrong order. I shouldn’t have to check my order in the Parking lot every time to make sure it’s right. I will say one of the probably dozen of times this is has happened I was offered a free sandwich. But most of the time I don’t even get an apology. I really wish there was a closer location because I feel stupid coming here when I know my order...

So for this I wanted to try another Brueggers bagels location. For the one in Milton was so terrible and extremely rude. So we drove the extra miles to try another. We have been brueggars bagels fans for some time. So the Vermonter is very tasty we got 3 of them. We split the last one. However the next day after eating them I had such a sour stomach. I was on the toilet many times. They did have a proper stock of bagels which was great and the staff were pleasant and more patient. However the place was pretty dirty. Where the air vents are there a long strip of lights that light just above the bagels. They are covered in old dust and gunk and right were the vents blow out air. I’ll let you guys use your imagination for this one. I’m sorry but I won’t be eating here again and I do not recommend the hingham or the Milton brueggars bagels locations at all. It is sad because living in Quincy they are the two closet location to us. It’s almost like they know they are here and people will come so who cares. They will come anyways so screw proper service and sanitation. I do not recommend either of these stores. Please please be better these stores are giving brueggars...

I visited this location on the morning of 5/22/2025, and I have to say—the staff made my entire experience. The morning crew was fantastic, especially the woman at the register, who I believe may have been the shift manager. She was attentive, kind, and truly went above and beyond.

I have a rare food allergy (alpha-gal), which can be tricky to accommodate, but when I explained it to her, she immediately took it seriously. She had the line wipe down surfaces and switch to clean utensils to ensure my food was safe. That kind of care and awareness is rare, and I appreciated it more than I can say.

The food was great, but honestly, I’d come back just for the service. That level of professionalism and kindness made my morning. Whoever she is—she absolutely...
