This was my first visit to Texas Roadhouse. It was a Saturday afternoon, so it was people there, but plenty of empty tables as well as plenty of waiters/waitresses. I've heard so many great things about TR. While the rave about the bread and steak was accurate, everything else was not up to par. Let's start with service. The waitress was nice, however, not attentive. She never refilled our drinks, never asked if we were good, never asked if we needed anything, just didn't bother to check on any of her tables. Out of 3 sets of silverware, 2 were gross with food on them. I wanted a frozen drink, but was told after ordering 2 different frozen drinks, that the machine does not work. Later during the meal, she brings me the drink. Excitedly, I ask about the machine being broken. She responded and said the manager went ahead and made it. It did not have all of the ingredients tajin, mango, or lime, but I was still happy to have a frozen drink. Next, the food. The steak, bread, and sweet potato were good. Even though I could tell that my steak had been sitting for a while because it was room temperature and a little dry, the flavor was still good. I did not get the ribs that came with my meal until about 10 minutes later after waiting and looking for the waitress. The salad had red old pieces of lettuce. When we asked to switch to Ceaser, thinking the lettuce would be different, it was the same. Most of the cheese was on the side of the bowl instead of actually on the salad. The green beans and ribs were just ok. I could go with never having them again. The service and food are exactly why I no longer like eating at chain restaurants. Service and/or food is a hit or miss. I will probably give TR another chance, just not at this location.

As a Level 7 Google Local Guide, I recently visited the Texas Roadhouse located on Jimmy Lee Smith Parkway in Hiram, GA, and had an overall outstanding experience.

Service: The service at this Texas Roadhouse was top-notch. Upon arrival, I was greeted warmly by the hostess and promptly seated. The server was attentive and knowledgeable, providing excellent recommendations and ensuring that all of my requests were met. My order was taken efficiently, and the server checked in regularly to make sure everything was to my satisfaction.

Order Accuracy: Accuracy is crucial when dining out, and Texas Roadhouse did not disappoint. I ordered the bone-in ribeye and specifically requested it to be cooked "Pittsburgh" style (charred on the outside and medium on the inside). My order was delivered exactly as requested, with all items correctly included and prepared to perfection. This attention to detail significantly enhanced my dining experience.

Food Quality: The food quality was exceptional. The bone-in ribeye was perfectly cooked to "Pittsburgh" style, achieving a delightful char on the outside while remaining tender and rare on the inside. The steak was flavorful, juicy, and precisely what I hoped for. The sides that accompanied the meal were also fresh and well-prepared, complementing the main dish perfectly.

Speed: Despite the restaurant being fairly busy, the service was impressively quick. From placing my order to receiving my food, the wait time was minimal. This prompt service is especially important in a bustling steakhouse, and Texas Roadhouse excelled in this aspect.

Ambiance: The ambiance at this Texas Roadhouse was lively and inviting. The rustic decor, combined with the energetic atmosphere, created a pleasant and enjoyable dining environment. The dining area was clean and well-maintained, contributing to the overall positive experience.

Overall Experience: Overall, my experience at the Texas Roadhouse on Jimmy Lee Smith Parkway in Hiram, GA, was highly positive. The combination of friendly and efficient service, precise order fulfillment, high-quality food, and a vibrant ambiance made for a memorable visit. This location stands out for its ability to deliver a consistently excellent dining experience. I would highly recommend this Texas Roadhouse to anyone looking for a great...

Sunday, Fathers Day..I make an online reservation and confirm. Arrive at location and told it would only be about 10 minutes. With-in 8 minutes we were told to go to hostess desk to be seated. All was great up to that point. We, my husband and myself were seated at a booth, on the table sat only a salt and pepper shaker, no menu's, nothing else. After sitting for 15 minutes my husband goes to the hostess desk to inform them that no one has been at are table to take drink order and to give us menu's. Mean while, in the same area as we are a table of 7 people are seated, with-in minutes a server was at there table taking drink orders and placing knife and forks. 10 minutes later a server comes to us and ask if we would like something to drink and he would be back with menu's. We gave him our drink order and told him we did not need menu's for we already knew what we would order. He takes out a piece of paper and writes our order down on it. 10 minutes later, drinks are brought to us. Mean while, party of 7 have had their salads and appetizers brought to them. We are now 35 minutes into sitting there and only thing we have received was drinks. I forgot to mention when we were being seated my husband selected a steak from the meat case that he wanted. Gave him half a ticket and placed the other half on the steak in the case. Fast forward, 40 minutes later server comes over and tells us that he is just waiting on the meat to come off grill and it would be just a few minutes longer. Table of 7, food is being served. At this point we are 54 minutes into sitting, I got up to use the restroom and thought I would go and see if steak my husband had selected was still in meat case, BINGO, still sitting there. So much for waiting for it to come off of the grill. Sat for 10 minutes more and got up and left. Husband spoke with manager as I walked out. I'm actually surprised due to the fact that this is the only steak place we choose to eat at but due to the service we received I can assure you we will never return. Very disappointing Texas Roadhouse, you have caused us to loose all respect for your...

As part of my Birthday celebration I decided to keep it simple and go to Texas Roadhouse as I usually genuinely enjoy their food and atmosphere. I’ll also say this was my first visit to this location and I had high hopes. The moment we walked in a I was the first one in the lobby and I approached the counter and there was a caucasian family behind me that approached on the other side. I clearly get to the counter first but she proceeded to disregard me and speak to them with a smile and warm welcome. I noticed but I’m patient person and didn’t see a reason to allow it to upset me until I noticed her entire disposition changed when she turned to me losing her smile and saying “name”. I’m not the kind of person always looking to detect racism but it was so obvious that even my family that was watching said they noticed it before I even had the chance to mention it. It bothered me the entire time because it’s not the experience that I’d be accustomed to and I felt it was so blatant that I needed to share with management. After paying, I asked my server to get the manager and she approached soon after. She didn’t greet or anything she looked as if we were bothering her to begin with, I share my experience and she said she was sure it unintentional and there was no reason to think anything differently. I told her she obviously didn’t care and she said “ hope to see you back next time” smiling sarcastically. I had to call back in to get her name which is Natalia, she showed me why the hostess felt she could share her prejudice and ruin this experience for us. As a manger she didn’t apologize for the experience or simply just reassure me she would follow up to ensure that wasn’t the case, she simply labeled my experience as a mis-interpretation of intention. As a customer I’m not reading intention just simply sharing my experience. My initial concern isn’t in the host being discriminatory but rather that she chose to work where she knew black guest also come. If they don’t appreciate hearing about your experience, they don’t deserve...
