Trying out Thai restaurants! This one was great! Wait time was good- they said 20 mins, I gave them 30, and it was actually ready, unlike Thai Mango. Decent customer service. Restaurant layout/atmosphere was a little cluttered/not as fancy as some other competing restaurants, but if you don’t care, then the food will make up for it. Basil rolls or “fresh rolls” were BIG and they gave enough sauce. Very good! But, $10, so you could pay $20 for 4 rolls, which is a bit steep. Green curry at spice level 3 was a bit too spicy for me. I like a little bite, but this one I will have to nurse with some milk. I would try level 2 next time. But ample ingredients and great flavor! Would like a little more rice, but curry portion was ample for $14. Thai iced tea was good, not the best I’ve ever had, but very good. And a large portion. Good price of $4. Parking was ample. Minus one star for restaurant layout and a tad bit for price. Would try again!

If you’re in Douglasville and/or near Hiram and craving Thai food, this is your little gem for good food and service. It’s a quaint restaurant that’s big on flavor. We started with the spring rolls and ginger salad, however what I really enjoyed was, they cut the spring roll into thirds which made for easy sharing with the table. The crab fried rice is delicious and one of the best I’ve had and the portions sizes were pretty good; I thought I would have to order another entree but I had enough to take home. I like they ask your spice level from 1-5, with 5 being the hottest. My children, one had the beef and mango with fried rice and another had the noodles and they each enjoyed their food. We are definitely coming back to try other options and I’m definitely getting that crab fried rice again. Take a friend, family, a date…just go, you’ll come back.

This is probably the BEST Thai restaurant you can dine at in the area, it’s not 100% authentic. It’s more like 74%, but the flavors are delicious.. which is why I came two days in a row after my first visit. It gets really busy during lunch so prepared to be sitting and waiting for a while. There’s only one server, there’s a sign before you enter that warns you to be “patience.” The only reason I docked one star is because they use the same veggies in all of their dishes, there’s not much of a variety of you are sharing family style. It might possibly be a supply chain issue or just the restaurant being resourceful.

The food was fantastic! Everything was fresh as could be! The flavors were great! When we arrived we were the only done in guests, but the to-go stream was steady. I was slightly disappointed that there is not a full bar, just a couple of beers and wines. But they did have fountain Coke products so I just had a coke. My husband had the regular sweet tea and said it was good, almost like his home-made. We had the Spicy Wontons for an appetizer and they weren't very spicy, but they were grey hot and good. The sauce was little sweet for me, but probably would have been a better balance had the wonton stuffing been spicy. My husband had the chefs special Supreme Duck. He said it was delicious! It was served very crispy with a honey sauce over it. He said the meat was very moist and falling off the bone. I had the Cashew Nut and Roasted Chili Chicken. It was full of vegetables and I asked for a spice level 3 on a scale of one to five. The spice was great, but their idea of a 3 would be too hot for some. The vegetables were clearly fresh, and sauteed perfectly - not mushy and not hard - still crisp and retained their color, shape and flavor. The portions of the appetizer as well as the meals was more than ample. My initial thoughts on pricing were that they might be a little high - but in this instance, the quality was WELL worth the price. Great job folks - I'm a little hard to please, so my husband was thrilled that I found nothing to complain about. Had there been a full bar, I would have given them 5 stars! I would definitely recommend Imperial Palace! We took home a take out menu and I'll definitely be calling in dinner and asking my husband to pick up on...

My husband and I had dinner at this place if I could rate it a ZERO I would. I arrived at this place at 7:45 pm, the server came to the talk we order drinks a Sprite, and a Coke, the server continue to stand there and look at us and she said, what do you want to order we didn’t even get to look at the menu we had just sat down so she went. She got her drinks both the sprite and the Coke were absolutely flat with barely no ice, second we ordered our appetizers. We ordered coconut shrimp in the calamari. They need to take the calamari off the menu. It was clearly from Costco’s Sam’s Club BJ’s somewhere they deep-fried it put no seasoning to it and called it the day the coconut shrimp. It was also from frozen, but they fried it so hard and it was so dark you could barely bite into it next they brought my husbands food out and then they brought my dish out 15 minutes later no one came over to say how was your food no one asked anything and then the bill was $81 and some change I will never go back there again authentic never that everything is pre-frozen and dumped into a pan with barely to no seasoning and it’s quite obvious whoever had this food has never had an authentic...

Today, I decided to place a to-go order from Imperial Palace for lunch. I had never eaten here before, so I thought it would be smart to order something safe. I ordered the orange chicken lunch special for a little over $6. The price worried me immediately because of how cheap it was, AND the fact that the restaurant was entirely empty. No one was there except for me and one white guy that rang my order up. The chicken was awful. The sauce was the most sugary, thick, sweet orange sauce I've ever eaten, not spicy and tangy like it's supposed to be, and the breading was mushy. Also, it came with "fried" rice, but all it tasted like was steamed rice thrown into a hot skillet for a few minutes with a bit of soy sauce. There were no vegetables in it at all, not even any onion for flavoring or anything. Not to mention, it was very dry. It also came with a very small order of wonton soup and even it was bad. Flavorless dirty dish water with crunchy noodles and ONE very old soggy wonton. No scallions in the soup and it was very bland. Even the fortune cookie was stale. Absolutely terrible. I will...
