OVERPRICED AND UNDERWHELMING. $35 for two kids meals, a Sunday Soup/Sandwich Special, and a U.S. Hero 6-1/2ā combo. The paper menu they handed us to read (because the hanging menu is partially blocked behind a wall) apparently had not been updated with higher prices. Everything we ordered rang up for more than was on our menu. They charged us $0.59 to add pickles to our sandwiches. They charged us $0.50 for a water cup (styrofoam coffee cup). The menu says to make it a combo (drink, chips, & cookie) for $2.49. When she rang it up it was $3.49 and she said no cookie. The sandwiches were served on the cheap thin paper plates. The U.S. Hero tasted like a giant bologna sandwich. The cheese and veggies were sliced so thin and applied so sparingly that you could barely tell it was there. My son said the soup was horrible and they said that the turkey was inedible. When I noticed all of the pricing differences and that they were nickel and diming me, I asked the cashier (assuming she is the owner) why it was listed on the menu. She just looked at me like I was stupid. Will not be back⦠This place will be closed in less...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI will not be returning. How do you serve a cheesesteak with NO CHEESE?!?! It literally says cheesesteak on the menu!! Not steak sandwich but CHEESEsteak. That is very misleading. I've never been anywhere to order a cheesesteak and had to specify that I wanted cheese on it. Furthermore, any sandwich with chicken on it is actually frozen "grilled" chicken chunks... like Tyson chicken from the bag... they are not cooking/grilling fresh chicken or even frozen sliced chicken steaks, like other big-name sandwich shops. I didn't have to worry too much about the meat, though, because the majority of what was wrapped in my bread was toppings... grilled onions, mushrooms, peppers, etc. They know the sandwiches don't come with cheese, so I feel like the least they could have done was to ask if I wanted to add cheese, that way, I would...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThankful this place is back!!! We love Baldino's! Freshest made sandwiches, made to order quickly, best of service, nicest staff around, no long waits, healthy eating. I can't say enough good things about this place. The only thing I would recommend is if your trying it for the first time, please try going for dine-in. Understand the bread is freshly baked every morning, so it's deliciously light and fluffy, that being said "hot sandwiches" and "to go orders" may seem to soggy the bread by the time you get to consume the sandwich. (Just a word of advice.)
Please go get some of this goodness soon, let's keep them here for...
