Never again! Numerous problems at the Hobart locationânot worth the time and effort as they never resolve issues! Faithful customer since opening, suffering through many wrong orders, poor food quality, overcharges and incompetently trained help. The service and food quality is excessively declining. When they first opened, they rated in line with other pizza places, but each week they falter and I try to give them the benefit and time to improve. However, my patience has run thin and I can no longer support this business. The experiences here have consistently worsened! A few examples: Ordered Chicken Alfredo four different times and twice they forgot the Alfredo sauce! Ordered build your own pasta, paid extra for mushrooms and there wasnât 1 mushroom! After calling to report the mushroom problem, I was never issued the difference as promised. Many times the order has taken longer for carry out orders and had to wait excessively on 2 different occasionsâapproximately 30 minutes longer than promised. Several times we were given the wrong size pizza when ordering with a couponâthey give us a smaller pizza. A few days ago, I ordered a 2 topping pizza and 2 pastasâI was quoted $17.80 on the phone with my coupon. When I arrived to pick up the order, they tried to charge me $37! They added a sandwich and did not apply the coupon. They adjusted the price to $21.99 and could not provide me with a corrected receipt in case I encountered problems with the overcharge. When I arrived home, they gave me the wrong pastas! I had to drive back and wait for them to prepare new ones! (As I waited, you could here an inappropriate conversation belittling one employee). One night, I ordered 3 pizzas including a Brooklyn specialty pizza with extra toppings and it was completely wrongâI never complained but was disappointingly overcharged. (Three small pieces of salami were laid on top instead of layered under the cheese, they completely scrimped on the feta cheese, did not include the olives, mushrooms, etc. and cut the pizza wrong.) The Valentine heart pizza was so hard we could only eat the center but we did not complain. Last night, I requested home delivery for the first timeâplaced an order for $56, they took my card information and then told me they could not deliver to my home 2.5 miles away. I called Merrillville and they do not deliver to Hobart. I then called Hobart back to inquire about the delivery area and the manager never came to the phone! The Dominos associate verified the delivery boundary and we are north of 61st avenue near the hospital but was told Merrillville must cover our area in Hobart. I also informed him to explain to the manger the address should be verified before taking an entire order, wasting a customers time and charging someoneâs card.    Read moreDo not order from this location. Our orders are never right and weâve called just to let them know a couple of times but this last time was the worst. They canât get an order right and you can only allow that so many times before you actually ask them to make it right. Tonight, again our pizza came wrong. Wrong! We call and talk to a kid who says he just started there because the manager, Angel, wonât come to the phone. She had him tell us that we can bring the pizza back and they wonât make us new ones until we bring the wrong pizzas back to the store. Who does that??? Not to mention they literally owed us a couple of free pizzas from our last couple of orders. We just kept giving them a chance and never took advantage of the free pizzas we were offered. Not to mention we always tip 25-30%. Then another manager apparently showed up for her shift and this kid put her on the phone. Her name was Amanda.    Read moreWe've always been happy with this Dominos, until the last two times we've ordered. Once, we ordered and waited over an hour for delivery. We'd already paid online. I tried to call and no one would answer the phone. I was about to drive up there when the delivery person finally showed up. Before I could get outside to question them, they were gone. Never got an explanation or the advertised free pizza. The next time, just recently, they didn't have the sauce we wanted on two of the pizzas we ordered. So, they gave us the other two we ordered for free. They also said we were going to get two more free pizzas plus pop and a side item the next time we ordered. I thought this was very generous of them. We did get the two free pizzas, but don't see in an email or on our account anything about the other things we were promised. Now, some of you may think I'm just looking for freebies. No, I never even expected the two free pizzas.
