Lincoln Carry Outs — Restaurant in Hobart Township

I waited 51 minutes for my Lincoln Lover sandwich. Mind you I was quoted a 15~20 minute wait. Yes they were very busy. Not only was the sandwich cold the roast beef was VERY salty just like someone had told me before I purchased the sandwich. People had come in after me after I had waited over 40 minutes and they still walked out before I did with their food. When I finally asked about my sandwich the little girl that was on the register with the red shirt on started loud talking me. Talking smart mouth and being very rude and disrespectful towards me. All I did was ask about my sandwich. Then another lady had come from the back I told her that I had been waiting 45 minutes for my sandwich. She told me that I wasn't being honest. She said that couldn't be true. She then said that she had only been there 45 minutes so there is no was I could have been waiting 45 minutes for my sandwich. I looked at my phone because I called the order in I had actually waited 51 minutes. The little register girl in the red shirt went and hid in the back after she disrespected me and allowed this other woman who claims that I hadn't waited 45 minutes for my sandwich to take over for her. They found it on the counter sitting alone cold. I've been in the restaurant industry for almost 30 years. One thing you don't do is disrespect your guests. That's all these two ladies did was talk disrespectfully to me. I couldn't believe she just let me walk out of the store with a cold sandwich and still took my payment. In the real restaurant industry your food would have been made over and given to you for free for such horrible and poor customer service. Neither one was offered to me. The audacity that they would loud talk me like I had done something wrong when the mistake was totally on them. The owner obviously allows this type of poor customer service. Disrespecting the VERY people who help keep this business open. This couldn't have been their first time being mean evil and rude to customers. SHAME ON THEM for being allowed to talk to customers this way. To the owner I suggest that your staff take classes on customer service. Teach them how to give great quality service and learn how to control their nasty attitudes. How is it that your customers are wrong and get talked to so mean and aggressively ONLY because I asked about a sandwich that I had been waiting on for 51 minutes. Had these women been a restaurant and was given this type of poor service they would have asked for the manager and would call corporate and the older lady said yes she sure would. After they continued to be mean and rude to me I still never ever spoke disrespectfully to them. To the owner if they tell you anything other than what I'm saying here they are MOST DEFINITELY...

I generally am satisfied with service and quality at Hobart location. Today was a cluster. I ordered by phone and was clear: one order of broccoli bites, one order of jalapeno poppers, and three grilled cheese with bacon no lettuce tomato or onion. Arrived and order was waiting for me. One sandwich and the bites and poppers. Told the woman that I ordered three not one. She took the bag and said she was putting under heater while they make the two missing sandwiches. About ten minutes later, the apparently completed order was handed to me. I was not happy. Drive away and pulled out the top sandwich...had lettuce etc. Great job. Returned to show them the sandwich I did not order. Then opened the other two and they were made correctly¡.!!!! So I asked to correct the order and put the rest under heater. They did. Sandwich came out in about three minutes. Gave me my bag, I was pissed, and advised the new person that my order was screwed up twice...got a sorry. Left. Everything was cold by the time I got halfway home.

I give them two stars only because of past performance. Today was a negative...

Haven't been the Lincoln's since they closed Highands down. Found this by accident on the net.

Owner was nice! Food was basically the same as the orignal Calumet City (the orginal owners) and the closed Highland one (were the orginal owners running that now retired). This is not one of the orignal owners but same setup. Parking is very limted.

No issues. We had 2 sandwiches, one fry and two cans of pop $22. Food was hot and fresh. Is anything cheap nowadays ?

Fyi people if you order from the drive threws or to go order always check your food while thier. Takes 2 minutes ! Stop blaming businesses cause your in a dang hurry.Thats why I always order inside. Save yourself time and aggravation. No one is perfect. See that with every place and drive threws or to go orders.

Off i65 and 3 miles east of Ridge Road on Old Ridge Road which runs along side Ridge. Old Ridge Road ends into Lincoln St and that is where they are. If not from the area and need to burn off the food try Lake George minutes away. Lots of parking and free.
