Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Hobart Township

Need to re-open the inside or manage the outside drive thru lanes. I waited on the road to pull into the drive thru lane. It was obvious the other lanes were not open. While waiting to turn into the correct drive thru I was subjected to horns being blown, getting flipped off, and cussed at as people worked their way past me. I follwed the correct procedure and others that came after me decided to get in the drive thru line that wasn't open. They continued to sit there for a while as I figured someone would come out to take their orders. No problem there. I get ready to turn to the back of the building and a lady came out of DQ and requested I let the other people who got in the wrong line to cut in front me. I said I was here before them and explained my displeasure with DQ refusing to open the inside like a lot of other restaurants. The lady said they don't have enough people. I find that difficult to believe. Then I said if those lanes are closed you should manage that so people can't pull into the lane. I explained I was waiting in line before the people made their own line and was told I'm sorry but.... so at that point Hobart DQ decided it no longer wanted my business and choose to reward people who don't follow the correct way. I encourage others to stop going here till DQ opens back up. As far as me after this experience I'm done....

This Dairy Queen has been a Hobart mainstay for generations. It probably dipped cones for the fur trappers before the Revolutionary War. Daniel Boone most likely rode olBessie through the drive through when the Brits were chasing him. Hobartites have grown and evolved brought parents, children, great grand children and it will be going on on until the sun expands and swallows the solar system..where upon the ice cream machine will be on overdrive and flame broiled burgers will be the rave of the galaxy.. Why you may ask? The Freys hire consistent excellent help, the place is spotless, the location is perfect for stopping traffic for 6 blocks either way and the food and fare is perfect everytime. If there is a better DQ in the US. I have yet to find the equal that doesn't exist. Oh, and I travel and on THIS..my own home is THE place for DQ. Food ice cream deals for every...

This is the first time that I went to this restaurant the driveway was very congested because they were doing some type of construction or rebuilding so I can understand that but the customer service actually sucked. I ordered my food the chicken strip basket. My food was cold, and my onion rings was cold as well. The lady did not ask me what type of condiment that I need for my food. They gave me some kind of gravy looking stuff I didn’t ask for when I asked the window The girl at the Customer Service window rushed me like it was a problem and then she just threw my condiment in the bag.
