Nancy's Cafe — Restaurant in Hobart Township

Simple tasty good food! As we walked into Nancy's cafe the friendly atmosphere was apparent. We were greeted as we entered as if we were old friends. The menu is simple. 1/2 pound hamburgers with different toppings like mushrooms and jalapenos. After we had finished our foood, the owner came out and chatted for awhile. Add I write this, I'm already feeling like this will be our new go-to restaurant. The prices were refreshing. Nothing over $10 can be found. I cant believe this amazing jewel that is located in Lake Station; Nancy's Cafe! My fiance brought me here on our first date and we have been regulars every since. Every chance we get we come here. There may be a slight wait for your food but thats because everything is literally made with love just like mom and grandma's kitchen. I would suggest if you have a large party call ahead. But to come in and have a cup of coffee and wait for your food is just as amazing. I would recommend a special trip just to eat here. Atmosphere is amazing service...

My GF and I were on our way back to Michigan and wanted to sit down and eat. This was absolutely the perfect place to go. Grandpa and grandma ran dinner with grand daughters helping out. Very friendly, clean and the grand daughters were absolutely a delight to serve us. It’s great to sit down and not be in a franchised restaurant. The burger, sandwich and soup hit the spot. It’s just a hop off interstate 94 and we’ll worth going. This will be our go to on the way to and from Chicago for work and pleasure. See...
