Wont be coming back. I you're reading these reviews to determine your visit, then believe the reviews. I read the reviews like you and decided to give this restaurant a chance and learned my lesson.
First of all let me address the restaurant. The place looks like a an old strip club that's been renovated. There aren't any windows and entrance is in the back. The restrooms need major attention. This place was supposed to be a sports bar and grill but when you walk in you hear crickets. The audio must be busted because you cant hear music or sports. You can tell it bothers people in there because the seem to be whispering there conversations so that the next table doesn't hear.
The waitstaff needs a wake up call. They are never around. I actually heard another table complaining to the bartender about it and the bartender basically told her "yeah I dont know where your waitress is".
I sat at the bar and the bartender is just as bad. I finished my first beer before I was ever offered a menu. The guy next to me was just as surprised at how long it took for her to come around and take his food order.
The food is not that great. Overpriced and when your staff leaves it in the window as long as they do, well if comes out worse. Luckily it took so long to have my order taken I saw alot of the dishes coming out and was not impressed so I order and appetizers.
Last thing I want to add. If the restuarant closes at 10 then I dont see why the staff should be so focused on putting things away at 9. Focus on your customers.
Wont be...
Read moreOkay, we tried. In a little over a year of living here in Hobbs, we've visited this place three times. But this is the last. First off, the service here is rather poor. They're not trained to care for the customer and don't care to provide a good experience. But the service isn't as poor as the food.
Who would actually serve black, moldy lettuce? Romaine lettuce that is black and beyond just wilted. Babe's would. A food poisoned treat covered in dressing and cheese. It makes one wonder if they themselves would eat it.
But for the main course, they served a tasteless burger missing several items. Items listed on the menu and then charging an arm and a leg for it.
Every other item we've tasted here is as if it was just a box meal thrown on a plate, and heated in a microwave. The poor quality, which seems to be the typical standard in Hobbs needs to be rebuked. People need to demand and expect more for the money they spend. The substandard service needs to stop. People need to realize that they foster the poor image of Hobbs by accepting this behavior.
Now I can't say anything about the bar. But if you want to do nothing more than drink and eat crappy food. Then hey, this might just be the place for you. But don't go there or take others here for a good quality meal or experience. It just isn't possible. Third times the charm, we understand folks can have an off day every so often, but this is not not just...
Read moreI'm not here to put a business down. I'm just telling the truth about my experience. My wife and I came in the other night and sat in the bar at a table. It took a long time to get attention from the waitress. When we did order our drinks, it took a while to get them. When we finally ordered our food, it took an unexpectedly long time to get it. My cheeseburger didn't have any cheese on it. I asked for a side of cheese and waited about 8 minutes and decided to eat it anyway. About 8 minutes after that, the waitress came and asked if I still wanted cheese. I told her I was good. My burger tasted like it was a frozen patty that was unseasoned and cooked on a George Forman grill. It was very dry and, without a doubt, the worst burger from a restaurant that I've ever had. So, bad service and bad food. Two burgers, two beers, and a Coke, and it came out to almost $60. Extremely overpriced for the poor quality of food and service. I see that the restaurant has responded to other bad reviews. I don't want an apology, I want you to be...
