Waffle House — Restaurant in Hogansville

This place has no respect for American Veterans nor truck drivers. I am a veteran and now a truck driver. I have severe PTSD. I cannot be in small confined places with strange people for an extended amount of time. For this reason when I go to restaurants I order take out. I went into this facility on the night of April 23, 2022. There were 2 employees working with 4 tables seated. As soon as I walked in the woman behind the counter yelled out "no take out orders" I asked how come and she said that her manager told her not to do any since they were short staff and busy. (I have been in busier Waffle Houses with the same amount of staff and received my take out but I digress) I explained my situation to her and she still refused. This is an insult to every veteran who has ever served. This is an insult against anyone who has special needs in their life situation. Most truck drivers want to grab a bite on the go so we can keep America feed and rolling. Three classes of people were just turned away from this restaurant because employees don't want to do their job. If you are a veteran or a professional truck driver stay clear of this place. They have no respect for us and look at our simple request as a nuisance. Maybe the manager will one day have to live with a severe disability and be shuned like I just was. I will probably NEVER stop at this location again!! It's close to my house so, I went there at 12am because I had been too busy to cook and I was tired. When I walked in, I was told by the 2 ladies working there that they won't be cooking anymore food for the night because one of them was scheduled to get off work at 2am and she had to clean up before her shift was over. I went to my car and watched both ladies walk outside and take a 15 min break while I tried to find a menu for Arby's next door.. Against my better judgment, I went back to that location in Hogansville about 2 weeks later and stood at the register to place a to-go order and I was hardly acknowledged as I stood there for 32 min. The only thing that was said to me or the other people waiting to place an order was, hold on, let me get them next.. Then I realized that the group of 7, who were sitting in a booth and the low counter, didn't even give their order yet. The place was not crowded at all. Maybe 15 people seated in the whole restaurant. The 2 guys who were working were moving in slow motion. The cook walked to the back to take a break, meanwhile, several people were still standing in line along with other people in another booth,, waiting to place an order! I stood there for over 45 minutes and ended up walking out without placing an order! This location is a joke and they need to shut it down! Plus, they NEVER...

If I could give a no star rating I would.. Went in and all the tables were dirty. Waited 10 minutes for a table to be cleaned while the waitress was having a conversation with the grill operator. Once she did come to clean the table there was dead bugs stick to the table. After finally getting a table we started to order and she left the table without making sure she had all the orders. The food came out pretty quickly but everything had been sitting and was cold except for the eggs. The hashbrowns were burnt and hard. The toast was hard and cold. The butter on the toast wasn't even melted. It took an additional 30 minutes to get biscuits and gravy.. We had to get up and ask for a refill in our drinks because the waitress was standing at the grill again talking to the cook with her hands in her apron. The waffle we get was cold and had black burnt pieces all over it. We had to ask 4 times to get ranch. And we were never offered a refill. To top off our service, the grill operator was extremely loud and cussing the entire time we were in the restraunt. This place is so unprofessional ! I will not be...
