Amazing!! My wife and I frequent this wonderful restaurant multiple times a week. The food is outstanding.
3/26/22 update: Chef Bailey & Tristen lead bartender have absolutely turned this place around for the best! Running amazing food & drink special almost daily. My wife and I continue to come here even through some tough hiring issues that most restaurants have seen. John the owner has finally assembled a great crew that actually cares about delivering great food and a wonderful experience! So excited to have this restaurant on the north side of town.
10/24/24 this restaurant has gone downhill when the new owners bought it and now it’s just going to be a boring Village in North. Crap food and terrible service, unless you are a regular.
4/6/25 We stopped in for Sunday brunch and were happy to discover some exciting changes at Kelly’s! Mike, the new owner, has bought out the former partners, and he and his wife have truly started making the place their own. Both the menu and the facilities have seen some noticeable upgrades.
From the moment we sat down at the bar, the experience was great. The bartenders greeted us right away, took our drink and food orders quickly, and everything arrived without delay. The food was solid—well-prepared and enjoyable—and our server made sure to check in to confirm everything was to our liking.
It’s clear that Mike is motivating his team to deliver a top-notch customer experience. The place was bustling with brunch traffic, but the service still felt smooth and attentive. While it’s not quite the old Kelly’s we remember, it’s definitely a big improvement over where things were last year.
Well done, Kelly’s! We’ll definitely be back—and with just a little more consistency, we’ll be ready to bump this review up from 4 stars...
Read moreIm not one to leave bad reviews but this is needed. My coworkers and I went there Saturday night, 8 total. Two days prior we called to make sure they were staffed well and we wouldnt be there for three hours. I had been there last summer and the wait for our food was insane and it all came out at once when we ordered an appitiezer ,then salads, then our entree and service was poor. I gave them grace because we are human and the pandemic has hurt us all. I told my coworkers about this experience and thats why we called. Well, as we walked in the host warned us, saying there was only 2 cooks. Ok. We still stayed. It was pretty busy as well, full bar. Two servers on the floor. After an hour of getting our food order taken the second server who wasnt even ours came and told us our food ticket hasnt been touched, after our server told us our food was getting started, and she was sorry and this was her second day and her last as she wasnt planning on continuing her employment at the restaurant due to poor management- her words. So she said drinks were on the house and we left. I understand the service industry, I work in it. But this was a bit much to go through. Listening to the servers bash this place, not getting a manager to speak with us, and basically asked us to leave. Didnt give us much options besides leaving. I feel bad for a lot of the restaurants truly. But this was nuts. So, I know for a fact we will not be going back and unfortunately not sure how this place will stay open as these two servers spoke so poorly of...
Read moreThe shrimp scampi wasn’t even scampi. The noodles were not angel hair like the menu describes, instead I got this mixture of bright yellow, over cooked noodles that tasted the equivalent of extremely salty ramen noodles, with random bits of spaghetti mixed in. Aside for the lack of resemblance to an actual scampi, it tasted completely awful. I’ve had frozen shrimp scampi that tasted 10x better. And to top it off, zero garlic bread. The only edible this about this was the shrimp itself. As for the fish and chips, and the burger along with the order, the fries were overdone and the fish and chips didn’t come with Tatar sauce as entailed. Not to mention, the customer service upon calling was poor. We were told “it’s not our fault if they don’t like it” or something along those lines (I standing next to the caller and listening to the conversation). It’s not a matter of “not liking it”, it’s a matter of poor food, and even poorer service. We were looking forward to giving this place a try based on the reviews, but sadly, those reviews are rather deceiving after the experience we had. As someone who’s worked in the restaurant industry, I understand things get busy and things get missed/messed up (especially in this pandemic-ridden environment), but overall the nail in the coffin was the rude response. If this is how customers get treated when there’s an issue with an order, then this place will surely not be successful in the long run. Complete waste of my time,...
