Peppino's Pizza — Restaurant in Holland Charter Township

Ordered pizza for delivery, paid, all was good. 50 minutes after I ordered they said “you are out of our delivery range. Would you like to pick it up or cancel your order?” So I said, “well, how long until it’s done?” And they said, “it’s ready right now.” So me having 6 hungry kids at home excited for pizza and not wanting to go through the hassle of waiting another hour for pizza from somewhere else, I went and picked it up. I had to ask to make sure my delivery tip was going to be returned. The young man at the register looked like I asked him to donate his arm to science. He said, “you gave a $5 delivery tip.” So I said, “yes, so since it obviously didn’t get delivered and I am here picking it up, is my delivery tip going to be returned?” And the guy finally says I can get it back. So he gave me change. SO nothing in their system said I was out of their delivery range and I didn’t find out until almost an hour later, BUT I had to ask about getting my delivery tip returned. Plus when I got home (7 minutes away from the pizza place, by the way) the pizza was cold and wow the pizzas were so tiny! The smallest “large” pizzas I...

My dad really likes peppinos pizza. Personally I don't care for it. So when my dad wanted to order from there I decided to try a sub. I ordered a turkey club, no mozzarella. The menu online says the sandwich is supposed to have turkey, bacon, ham, mozzarella, mayo. We ordered and were told it would be there in 30 mins.

An hour later I got a thin, soggy sandwich with wilted lettuce and tomato. There was no bacon or ham on it. I could have called and complained but I really didn't feel like waiting another hour. So I took a bite of the sandwich. It was absolutely awful. In fact it was the consistency of applesauce. I ended up taking the turkey and lettuce off and putting it on bread I had at home.

The saddest part of this? I'm the kind of person who likes to give others the benefit of the doubt. This is the second time this has happened.

We were visiting from out of town. We were absolutely exhausted and tired from doing a outdoor Market at the fairgrounds. We had not eaten all day and most places were closed. We were unsure whether to even bother to go in. Looks can be deceiving. The pizza was absolutely fabulous! The garden salad was huge and enough for 2 people. I'm from the south. We love hot sauce. I asked the guy at the counter if they had any hot sauce that I could add to my salad and ranch. The employee - cook made some for me. It was delicious. He made a point of coming out to our table and asking if it was good or not. The manager came out as well. We talked to him for a minute and he told us some great things in the area. The store had music on and everyone was singing and enjoying themselves while they were working late on a Saturday night. Whatever the store and manager is doing they are doing a great job.
