Bobalu's Pizza — Restaurant in Homer Glen

I originally planned to give this place 4 stars, because my only complaint was the fries... but they went and told Upside, that I didn't make my purchase. They want to get petty about less than $2?! The fries were crispy, but they were cooked in old oil...it tasted like the oil was used to fry everything and not just fries. I couldn't eat them. The pizza... the pizza wasn't bad, exactly... but it was sweet, kind of like the pizza you expect from places that are meant for children, not for adults... like Little Ceasars or some other bargain place, except this pizza isn't priced that low. Anyway, I just tried the place, because when I was getting gas near-by, the Upside app showed them at 17% cash back... so I grabbed lunch there. 2 slices and some fries. If you don't know about the Upside app, you need to submit a receipt, but then they check the receipt with the restaurant... this place lied and said they couldn't find my transaction, so therefore I don't get my $1.47...I guess I should've gone back for my refund for the...

Bobalu Pizza is an absolute gem and has quickly become my top choice for delivery. The pizza arrived still perfectly warm, a testament to their efficient service. What's even more impressive is how delicious it was the next day—it holds up beautifully! ​Beyond the incredible food, the staff is a true standout. Every worker I’ve interacted with has been beyond kind, which makes a huge difference. Their website is also user-friendly and easy to navigate. ​My only minor suggestion would be to list the available soda options for the 2-liter drinks on the website. I simply let them know my preference (Coke, Pepsi, or RC) in the order notes since I wasn't sure what they carried. It's a tiny detail, but it would make the ordering process even smoother. ​Overall, this place is fantastic. I’ve been ordering from Bobalu’s for quite some time now and their pizza has officially become my favorite in town. It’s always fresh, delicious, and filling. The chicken chunks and wedges are amazing too, and their prices are incredibly fair compared to many other places.

Story time: This morning, my heart was unexpectedly torn apart. I hadn’t eaten, was crying, and needed some kind of comfort. On a whim, I left a note on my order saying I got my heart broken. When I opened the box, I found the cutest little jokes written inside. It reminded me that sometimes it’s not just about the food (even though it’s fantastic).
