Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Honolulu

Were told to pick up in 20 mins, arrived when our order was supposed to be ready. We were told it wasn’t ready, so we waited. Waited 25 mins for it to be ready. They were clearly understaffed. We were handed the boxes but the worker ran to the back right away and was back there for 10 mins before running back out for us to pay for our order and leave. Upon handing us the boxes, they were already cold. There was a line of 10 people behind us when we were finally helped so when we got to our car and felt that the pizza was cold upon getting it, we couldn’t go back in and wait another 45 mins to get back to the register and explain the issue. We live 3 mins away and when we got home and opened the boxes it looked like day old pizza. I’m not sure how this can be the case if we were waiting on the pizza. Wouldn’t you expect it to be hot if it wasn’t ready when you went to pick it up? We called and explained the situation and were told that we could have a $10 refund. $10 refund for a $40 order of completely cold inedible food. We asked to speak with a manager and were told we couldn’t have a full refund and they only offer was to remake the order and now the estimated wait time would be an hour. Would not recommend this Pizza Hut. Not impressed with how the issue was handled either. We work hard for our money and don’t mind waiting, but expect to be handed fresh product once we receive it after...

Normally, I'm pretty forgiving in reviews. However, my first and only time ordering a pizza from here was terrible: so, the actual experience of ordering a pizza -via the website- went without a hitch. The pizza was delivered, within the allotted time-frame, and it tasted decent. However, I noticed, I got abnormally sick from eating a few slices of it. At first, I thought that it was just me. However, the next few times (within the span of a couple of days), again, I became sick: upset stomach, the "runs," several waves of nausea, etc. While I still had some of the pizza remaining (again, within the span of a couple of days), I ate food from another restaurant in the area, with negative results (no issues). I, then, ate a few more slices of the pizza, and I experienced the exact same symptoms, as before: upset stomach, the "runs," several waves of nausea, etc. At this point, despite my love for pizza, I am extremely hesitant, on ordering again from this location, or Pizza Hut, in general. I can/will deal with cold/lukewarm pizza; I can/will not deal with seemingly contaminated/unsafe food....

I recently attended kona ironman on the big island. I then flew back to honolulu and stayed close to the airport for an early departure. I got a cab into the closest supermarket which had the pizza hut nearby.l ordered a taxi to return to my hotel which after an hour and a half finally arrived. I was very stressed out and scared as it was getting on dusk,l was so tired and ready to lose my shit after being approached by someone asking for a few dollars. I got asked by a few delivery drivers who noticed I'd been waiting for a long if I was okay, and if l needed help. I would like to say a huge thankyou to all that offered help, you guys were amazing and helped an old girl flying back to Australia the next morning feel much better, so thankyou a few kind words got...
