This place is very nice but super crowded. But people here seem to be more of a professional crowd which I like. While I was staying here I was woken in the middle of the night by an upset guest. I had to ask him if he was ok because he kept slaming things and I knew he was upset because that how my father would behave when he got angry. I asked him if he was ok, and he said, " oh man, I don't know", my first thought was you are in a public space with lots of people, you better find a way to be ok sir. I just don't understand why people want to just bring issues to these hostels, I have only had bad experiences with other guest staying at the hostels, making it hard to sleep, being very rude, touching my stuff without my consent. Its just to much for my brain to tolerate. I didn't get any sleep even though the bed was very nice, I had to listen to grumpy old man throw a fit in his cube. Again very nice place but people just don't have good manners at all, and the entitlement is out of this world. If you want to feel special, go pay 300 dollars at the courtyard Marriott for a private ro9m and a hot tub that doesn't work, you can pay 18 dollars at the Cafe for a breakfast sandwich, which is good but not nearly enough food for that much money. Ive been doingbthus for a long time, and one thing that Ive noticed in Hawii, and this tourist state, the hospitality, especially if you don't have a lot of money and don't fit their tourist characterizations, you won't be treated well. I don't know who can actually rest in these places but I can't. Everyone is so hostile. The staff when I arrived was great, showed me how to do everything I needed, they even have hot saunas for you. The staff at night, night shift, seems like they hate everyone. I know night shift is hard guys but come on, you want to provide a good experience, be happy you have a job and are not sleeping on the streets like some of the indigenous on the islands of Hawii, its so backwards here.

Utterly abandoned empathy toward guests during a water main break. Upon registering for our stay March 28 at tired and travel worn after 12 hours travel, reception informed us that a municipal water main break had occurred and that no running water was available for the entire hotel. No rate reduction was offered, no alternative accommodation was offered, even though another hotel in the chain exists nearby, and the only mitigating effort from management was to offer two water bottles for our family of three. No water, wipes, or other sanitary measures were made available to mitigate the possible spread of germs throughout the hotel. Not even a bottle of hand sanitizer. The customer service manager on site clearly had no authority to make any decisions other than to provide two water bottles. It was very clear there was no policy or plan ready in the event of a loss of water. The manager made no effort to escalate complaints. The pool, bar, and restaurant closed. All washrooms were soon unusable. No effort was made to distribute water to rooms from the pool to flush toilets. The water was not restored until the following day at approximately 10:30 AM. To add insult to inconvenience, upon checkout, we were told we were being automatically charged the amenities fee which came to $29.49 including taxes for the unusable amenities. On top of this disrespect from the decision makers, the rooms and hotel itself is like a time capsule from the 80s, the neighbourhood is in squalor with agitated homeless people wondering about so be careful when venturing offsite.. overall, I’m of the opinion that this could very likely be a dangerous place to stay in the event of a municipal emergency as their lack of preparedness was clearly demonstrated by their disastrous response Once again, I’m very disappointed by this location and this hotel chain in general.

Older hotel in Honolulu with that said your not going to get scenic views or anything like that but the rooms are fairly nice . Clean and service is good . Very close to airport . Every time I asked for something I got it.There is security that seems to be outside at night. My family stayed here for over 20 days for PCS to the area with our pets. Our room was on the first floor . They have 2 dog parks one is open the other is a smaller closed area when picnic tables . First floor seems to be for families with pets . Our room seem very clean couldn’t tell prior guests stayed there with pets . We loved the amenities body wash lotions shampoos gives you that island feel. Breakfast was a nice surprise. We receive vouchers for a free breakfast . You go into their restaurant where they serve breakfast lunch and dinner if you want an upgrade to the buffet breakfast it’s only 10 dollars if you give them your vouchers. Seating is nice, birds fly in and ate my daughter’s granola . They have a charming little gift shop where you can pick up souvenirs or anything you may have forgotten medicine ramen noodles if you’re hungry. The lady named Patty that works in there on weekends is very sweet . Also the lady named Rose that checked us in gave us lots of helpful tips while we were there .

In the hotel's restaurant. We had to wait some considerable time to be attended to, we ended up seating ourselves, getting our own menus and water, whilst the sole server juggled his other responsibilities. After a very ordinary fish & chips meal, with the thinnest fries we've ever seen we received a bill for the equivalent of AUD $90 to which not only had a 4% kitchen charge been added but additionally a further 18% service charge. Neither the meal or service justified this charge in any way. We left what we considered to be a fair and reasonable payment which more than covered the cost. For the AUD$ 75 cost we could have fed four people with a far better quality meal.We had been unable to use our drinks voucher in the restaurant, so after the meal we went to the bar in the same hotel to use our vouchers to get a drink. Whilst there a very disgruntled server from the restaurant and some random woman from the bar came and accosted us, snatching a jam jar of tap water we had brought round with us to finish at the bar. We were basically accused of stealing a jam jar of tap water whilst sitting at a bar in the same hotel, as paying guests! A waiter from the restaurant hung around the entire time just to ensure he got his jam jar back!Next morning we loaded our own cases onto the free shuttle bus. The driver tried to dismantle our cases, we asked him to leave our cases to allow space for other guests & we wanted them to stand in the luggage space adjacent to the rack, as they had done on the way to the hotel. The driver began shouting at us, threw a tantrum & went to get his boss, who came out & saw no issue with our cases. The driver then began driving recklessly, racing round corners and braking heavily. Guests had to tell him to slowdown and stop driving dangerously. He then made all the guests remove their own bags unassisted after we informed him his behaviour certainly did not warrant any tips! A shocking & horrible end to our holiday & not a very good advertisement for the USA Dreadful tipping culture of entitlement even if service does not...

I had a wedding to go to in Hilo however I decided to make a pit stop in Honolulu since there was a few things I wanted to see. After a long flight I decided to stay in hotel Honolulu since it’s by the airport and not far from the Pearl Harbor memorial. Not gonna lie the room was expensive but Hawaii is expensive overall so there’s that. The ladies working the front desk were very friendly and accommodating and so was the gentlemen working in the bell desk and driving the shuttle. What I really liked about this hotel was that the shuttle and location makes it very convenient specially if you don’t have a rental. The shuttle leaves the hotel and heads to the airport on the hour FYI so just be ready at the lobby 15 minutes ahead of time. In order to save money I didn’t get a rental and it worked out because there is a bus stop a few feet away from the hotel. I took the bus to Pearl Harbor and one bus took me from the hotel all the way to Waikiki beach. The bus was great because it left me in front of a 7-11 on the way back from Waikiki. I was able to get some snacks and hop back on the bus and go back to the hotel. the buses also stop often. Another thing I liked about the hotel is that they offer to hang on to your bags before or after checkout (that same day). I went on a 4 hour tour to go see the Jurassic Park ranch before my flight to Hilo. I checked out and gave the bell desk my luggage. I went to my 4 hour tour and was able to come back, get my luggage and take the shuttle to the airport on a timely manner to be able to catch my flight to Hilo. At first I wasn’t sure about staying here but I am so glad I did everything about it was so convenient. There is also nearby food places. Again I didn’t have a rental but I was able to walk to a few places from the hotel to get food. If I ever need to make a pit stop in Honolulu I will stay at this hotel. My room was clean and had plenty of towels. The hotel was also very quiet. I slept like a baby. Thank you again...
