Subway — Restaurant in Honolulu

I visit this Subway location at least three times a week because I work in the shopping plaza and the staff is usually professional and friendly, however, today was completely different. While the employee was making my sandwich, a police officer walked in and for some reason…the employee making my sandwich stopped helping me, made a sandwich for him while making conversation with him. She then handed me off to another employee who made the sub after the officer left. The employee then rung me up for the exact (more expensive) sandwich the officer ordered which makes me think…did the officer even pay? Was the sandwich given to him for free? Did they conveniently forget to charge him? So many unanswered questions. I wasn’t aware Subway delved in preferential treatment based on career choice. Needless to say…today was my final day...

placed an online order which was buy one footlong get one free when I went to pick up the order they told me the order already got picked up....umm how....then they told me the order wasn't processed when the money was already taken out of my account. then the lady had to go talk to the manager about it and it showed up on their screen needless to say after much bickering they only made 1 sandwich when I told them it was 2 sandwiches they said they don't honor online coupons at this location and as I was leaving they told me I had to pay for the sandwich(that I had already paid for) again. I told them no I already paid and u won't make my full order so why do I have to pay again. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM GRUMPY EMPLOYEES WHO MAKE THEIR OWN RULES. NEVER GOING TO THIS LOCATION AGAIN. I WOULD GIVE A ZERO IF...

Arrived at the shop where there were about eight customers in line and two workers behind the counter. The two ladies were fast and friendly to everyone so the line moved really quickly. We ordered two kids meals, a six-inch cold cut and loaded potato soup.

One of the ladies helping us replaced the kids meal “toy” with a choice of chips or cookie and swapped the boxed drink/milk for a fountain drink since our kids were on the older side. She also saved us a little money by making the sandwich and soup into a meal combo. We sat in cold AC to enjoy our food while good 80’s music played. Tables and floors were clean so...
