I mostly do online delivery with food these days. And when they first started doing it after Covid it was great. Now it's hit or miss and today was a huge miss. I specifically ordered my steak medium RARE. This was very overcooked and chewy and the rice was pasty. This is not the first time this has happened unfortunately. Sometimes I get lucky and the food is excellent. Other times like today I scold myself for trying this place again. I really need to find a new restaurant to order from. I've also complained to their corporate office numerous times to tell them to stop putting graded cheese on EVERYTHING. Some of us have dietary restrictions and it's not cool. They just don't care. Stop forcing us to eat this stuff. While I love cheese, it's not something that sits well with me at all. Since they started the new shrimp scampi, they always sent it to me without cheese so I figured I was safe. Last time it was smothered in it. I paid a lot for this meal (let's face it, restaurants are incredibly expensive now). So I tried picking the cheese pieces off and ate it anyway. I ended up getting stomach problems because of my health condition. I should not have to call them every time I order and say "don't put cheese on everything". Even salads! At least put a spot on your website to say "no cheese". I have also complained about the new plastic containers with ridges in them. Every single time I order food with mashed potatoes, most of the potatoes stick in those ridges and I lose out. Again, deaf ears. It's like everything else, places don't care about what the customer wants anymore. It's really discouraging. The quality of the food itself has gone way down. As I said, it's not consistent at all. Wow 😳! Prices have gone up! At least the popcorn 🍿 is still free 🆓! My daughter devoured it! Food was good though portion to price was a little small. Thanks inflation! Looking for a place to eat that was open late on Sunday, we chose 99 because my daughter asked for macaroni and cheese 🧀. I had the Baked Haddock 🐟 Tacos and my friend, she had the Grilled Balsamic Chicken with broccoli 🥦 and rice 🌾. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Service was great 👍! Only issue, I wished they had swept up the popcorn under our table before we sat down. Free refills on our teas. WiFi available if you are a member of their rewards club. Speaking 🗣️ of rewards, I took advantage of one, free dessert. I had an American Cheeseburger 🍔 first then the Baked Chocolate Chip Skillet Cookie 🍪 with ice-cream. Yummy! Update: April 2024; There are good deals through the Rewards program and the app. I've tried the All Star Burger 🍔 and Vermont Cheddar Burger, both without bacon 🥓, and they were good. I sat at the bar 🍺 and service was good. Update: January -August 2025; I had the Roasted Turkey 🦃 Dinner 🍽️ with french fries and cole slaw. I had a free order of Gold Fever Boneless Wings. Desert was a Petite Strawberry and Lemon 🍋 Cake 🍰. All were good 👍. I ordered curbside to go for my daughter. Her order came out a very short while just after I pulled up. Good 👍 job! Went there for a treat for the family and a Valentines Day dinner. About a 45 minute wait not bad being friday and Valentines. Service was very good attentive. We were excited because the cauliflower apps is one of our favorites.For the good. We order the potatoe skin sampler and cauliflower both were hot and very good. For dinners my youngest ordered short rib mac and cheese she loved it big chunks of tender beef and being a mac and cheese snob she said it was very creamy and good. Lol My wife ordered tenders and fries both good for tenders hot and juicy. The bad I ordered king smothered steak tips with rice and broccoli casserole. Ordered the steak medium. Tips came out grey with light grill marks. I knew instantly they were under kept the waitress there and cut into it. They were raw. Ugh she took it away right away. Meanwhile wife and daughter enjoyed their dinners. Should state this is around 730 and restaurant wasn't to busy maybe 3/4 full and slowing down. I digress steak came back found the bigger pieces cut into them still raw this point I'm very agitated. Told waitress take it off she convinced me one more time I said fine make it medium well maybe they can make it medium then. Another 5 minutes the manager brings it over and I can tell they killed them. Severe char all over them he waits for me to cut them all are way well done. Told him I'm not eating it take it off. So disappointed we don't go out often and Valentines day dinner. I had my wifes leftover tenders. It's not hard to cook steak tips so disappointed will be along time before we go back to this establishment.
