This place screws up our order more often (2-1) than they get it right. Often I've gotten home to realize something was missing or something wasn't made properly. They also don't cook the chalupa shells properly as they are just soggy bread rather than deep fried. Today I was particularly annoyed after getting home with three hungry kids to find out they forgot the kids meal I ordered AND gave me beef chalupa's instead of chicken chalupas. They have a video screen at the drive in, but it never works, and that would have been an easy way to catch the order mix up. The content, I just need to be more diligent in checking the bag to make sure everything is there. The problem I have is that's their job! I'm not going to go here anymore, I'll either not get KFC/Taco Bell or I'll pick it up from somewhere else. I go there quite often and the last time I went I was in line for 15 minutes even though there was only one car ahead of me and then took them another 8 minutes at the window. I only ordered a couple items one of them being nacho fries. I was very excited because I love them I got home and realized they forgot to give me the cheese dip with it. The time before that was absolutely horrible... I ordered for my family and when I got home I realized that they had forgotten two or three items that I had paid for. They forgot to give me the chicken taco that I ordered and they forgot to give me the macaroni and cheese that my daughter ordered. The regular beef tacos that we ordered were horrible! The beef was like dried and in chunks. No one could even eat them they were really disgusting. Normally I would call and complain but I tried calling and no one...
Read moreThis location has had some issues for a while, particularly with getting my drive through orders wrong (almost always missing items ordered and paid for) and with delays taking and filling orders.
I don't know if it's under new management but it has improved tremendously recently in the order taking. Last night the order taker introduced themselves by name and was supremely confident in taking an order that had substitutions in items (e.g. chicken instead of beef, spicy doritos locos shells, etc). It was a very good order experience.
Some orders still slow the whole drive through line. But that's improved too. I think part of the issue might be having both KFC and Taco Bell menu items, but our family really appreciates that as we order from both menus and we don't mind waiting a bit longer. And of course a large order or one with lots of changes takes...
