Cellular Freedom's owner Shaun is an honest guy. Yes you might be on hold for a minute, yes he tells you like it is even if it hurts your feelings. But I want the truth no matter how it feels! Lol ( Stay on hold! It will save you money and aggriation!). If I wanted a lie I would head over to Verizon so they could try to sell me a $1200 phone I cant afford instead of being smart and fixing the one I have thats paid in full!!! Well I went there for my 3rd visit since they opened. I wanted my sons cell phone screen replaced. He told me $120 for the aftermarket screen ( probably Chinese?). He said $140 for the genuine Samsung screen, which is original to the phone when it comes from the factory. Listen I'm a disabled veteran, I don't have alot of money but going with original equipment is important to me. Especially since my phone was brand new when I got it. If u call your carrier, Verizon or Assurion will take your new phone and give a phone that has been "Factory Refurbished"!!! THAT MEANS IT WORKED ON SOME TEST BENCH IN INDIA OR PAKISTAN... But then u get it back and it looks new but some where inside your phone has some issue that will rear its ugly head when you're on vacation some where in the jungle then you got no phone til u come home and get another assurion lemon!!! FIX YOUR PHONE THAT WAS NEW TO YOU! I HAD MAJOR ISSUES WITH ASSURION EQUIPMENT!

WELL, I went to pick up my phone Shaun apologized because he forgot I was a veteran. I asked how he knew? He said he saw my veteran license plate. I don't know about you but any store owner that gives me a veteran discount on their own is good people! I have been here three times and this is the only place I will go from now on. Updating my review from four years ago. Cellular Freedom continues to be my favorite cell phone repair shop in the world. I recently had a sudden failure of an iPhone 12Pro, while I was visiting the US. When they were unable to repair it themselves, they sent it to a specialist who found and fixed the microscopic issue that caused the failure. That took more time then I was able to stay in the US, so they went to extra lengths to try to ship it to me in China. I'm sorry that I can't give credit to all of the employees who worked on my phone issue, but Shawn has put together an excellent, responsive and friendly group. I wish them continued success, and will take any phone problem to their capable hands in the future. Original review If I could give more than five stars, I would. From the first, I recognized Shawn as an excellent technician and businessman, a rare combination. As his business has grown, he has built a team that is equally dedicated to technical excellence and customer service. Came in with a broken screen/LED display on a Samsung Galaxy S8 which rendered the phone unusable. I wanted to be able to access my phone and get my information off of it, but with no screen and lacking the proper data retrieval settings, I would have been unable to get back into the phone. As I'm approaching an upgrade this fall, I didn't want to pay for a brand new screen (general consensus here and elsewhere, ~$230). Shawn and his team were able to work with me to find the best possible solution, offering the option of a slightly cracked (but still functional) replacement screen for less than half the price of a brand new screen. This is along with the offer of a brand new screen. I had concerns about the used screen, and Shawn assured me that if I do have functionality issues with it, I could get a brand new screen and just pay the cost difference (no additional cost for labor or for the first screen). When I brought the phone in after taking a night to think it over, Olivia was very friendly and helpful. I was told that it would be about an hour, and the phone was ready even sooner than that. Fewer than 24 hours after first stopping in, my problem was solved!
