KFC — Restaurant in Hooksett

Now, I only gave a 2 rating across the board, because for 2 days in a row I went to the Hooksett KFC to get dinner and both times I went away empty handed. First day I sat in line in the drive thru for 20 minutes. When my turn came I was told, "I'm sorry ma'am, but we are all out of sides." Off I went with no dinner. The second day I called ahead to be sure they had sides, "Yes we do." they said. Great! So I get there and today the dinning room is open, so I go in (with my husband this time). On the way in hubby held the door open for 2 ladies exiting, with at least 3 buckets of chicken!! Not to mention all the other items they had. I am going to assume that these ladies called ahead with this LARGE order, because given my experience at this location they would've had to wait 30 minutes just to order. Back to my experience. When we finally get to the counter (after being behind the worst customer in the world, that's another story) we are told there isn't any original recipe, only crispy, and it will be at least 50 minutes before it's ready!!! Now they would have been filling that order when I called about the sides, so why didn't they warn me about the chicken?? And bye the way, when I called, the kid that answered said " Burger King, how can I help you?" Ha ha ha, I bet corporate doesn't find that funny. And I had just stuck up for KFC in an earlier post because of their staffing problems. Sorry Hooksett KFC, but I can't anymore. I will not be going to this...

Updated review and believe me don’t ask me why I bothered coming back here. Try to give them the benefit of the doubt updated review August 22, 2025. They don’t know what they are doing. There management is horrible. Some of the workers have no clue between the quality of the food being disgusting And old now they run out of spoons or forks I mean, how does the store manager not see that that’s a problem why wouldn’t they go buy some at the local store to give to paying customers because they don’t care this place is trash. Read the reviews before you waste your time. More money stopping here with these rude people

Aug 1 ..The gentleman at the window in order taker were great. The food leaves a lot to be desired. I try to come here a few times and once the food was good chicken is dry barely any sauce on it. Coleslaw leaves a lot to be desired as well. Try to take your time and make it right and make it fresh and you might have happier customers and...

This is based on our last experience here (a few years ago).

My husband and I stopped by the drive-thru after seeing a movie at the theater. There was easily 6+ vehicles ahead of us but we didn't think much of it. It took close to 30 minutes for us to be able to place our order ($20 bucket and a Famous Bowl). Quite a few cars left while we were waiting. After placing our order, we heard the car behind us being told it would be at least a 30+ minute wait to get the food (they didn't tell us this). Finally, after almost an hour, we got our food. We were given the Famous Bowl for free, discounted on the $20 bucket, and received a few pieces of chicken free, along with several containers of mashed potatoes.
