Unfortunately, my first time at this new location was a true disappointment. I walked in to see that the sanitation score wasn't visibly posted (I didn't see it anywhere and I always look at those when I eat at any Waffle House). The table I chose appeared clean from a distance, but it was not and the menus had food stuck on so I placed them off the table and didn't even use them. I was there with my 2 children (age 3 and 7). I only went for waffles, I ordered a double waffle (saves $1 vs. Getting 2) and a extra waffle for myself. It had been such a long time since I've ate at waffle house so I felt like tonight would be a treat, but I was tricked! I couldn't flag my waitress down after she only brought part of our order. I was in need of an extra plate, refill on my drink and once my waffle was delivered (by someone else) and I finally got to eat, when my kids were halfway done with their waffles, I take a huge bite and realized MY WAFFLE ISN'T FULLY COOKED!!! I literally ate batter. Once another waitress saw the distressed look in my face she asked me if I needed anything. I mentioned I needed a new waffle as this one isn't completely done and showing her what it looked like. I think her assumption was that it simply wasn't cooked to my standards, but it was far worse than that, I'm just not the type of woman who puts up a big fuss as I like to give people the opportunity to make it (above) right. The waffle I received as a replacement was fine, it wasn't hard or uncooked, it was soft, but I still had the taste of the uncooked waffle in my mouth that the texture of the new waffle just made me feel sick of eating anymore. Ofcourse, since my kids finished eating way before me as we didn't get our meals at the same time, they are now looking to eat from my plate (even though we all had the same portion). That's kids for you, lol. I obliged since I wasn't in the mood to complete the meal. I gave exact change, no tip as I wasn't sure who the tip would go to as 3 people came to help with each issue, but no one really cared as I had to flag people down for help. Someone else did ask me how I was doing. Not sure if that was a manager or what but she didn't speak to me until I had already gotten up to pay, so I didn't feel like expressing my concern and getting a "Sorry, to hear that...glad we got ya sorted out. Take care!" I didn't feel like that team of people would be capable of showing compassion and discounting my bill. It would've just made me feel worse if I even expressed myself beyond stating my issue as I already did. Now my tummy hurts and idk if its in my head of if its truly because I ate waffle dough. Needless to say, I won't be back to that location on Legion Rd. I will not let this incident speak for all waffle houses as I am smarter than that but this waffle house has poorly trained staff. It may get customers due to its location, but it will not keep the same customers. I'm from here and everybody knows which waffle house locations are best (Hope Mills Rd.) and which are worse (Raeford rd. On the corner of...

Wow, where do I start. They were slow to initially take our order, with only 3 other people in the place, and they had their food already. Okay, I ignored that. I ask for hash browns, toast, bacon, and eggs. The hash browns were raw, barely warm, no brown to speak of. THEY WERE WHITE. the toast was not toasted, white bread and it was terminally soggy from the slog of butter they put on it. I didn't touch the eggs, and this is the important part I send it all back and ask for a BRAND NEW PLATE. The waitress sucked her teeth and rolled her eyes, snatching my plate from me and trudged to the chef, immediately exclaiming "that table over there is complaining too much" loud as can be. I get my plate back and it wasn't a new plate, they just re-cooked the hash browns (very badly, they were still white) and re-cooked the toast (it was still extremely soggy from too much butter). How did I know it was the same food, same plate, just re-cooked? THEY DIDN'T TOUCH THE EGGS, THEY LOOKED THE SAME AND WERE FULLY COLD BY THE THIS TIME. If that was too long to read, they screwed up a simple order, twice, and audibly complained about it within earshot of my family. And couldn't even make simple toast, it was white bread soggy...

This the second time that I have called for more than 30mins with no response. The first time I literally pulled up still making phone call attempts and they had 3 tables and the phone was off the hook laying beside the register. Today I called for 10mins before the phone was answered and immediately asked if I could hold, it was another 15mins of listening to them pull and drop and greet and cash out other customers. Then finally someone came to the phone and was like oh it’s someone on here can I help you? I understand how busy WH can be that was my very first job however your Togo customers are well should be treated with the same high importance as the ones in store. I’m disappointed because this one is right beside my house and I get this service when I use to drive all the way to Hope Mills Rd and pick up my order NEVER had an issue. This is becoming...

This is only one of the pictures but today me and a few friends decided we would go get Waffle House before we went to school. We got there sat down and had decent service. We got our food in a timely manor, but as we began eating I noticed a peace of hair in my grits. I told the table about it and next thing we knew we found 2 more pieces of hair in my friends grits and another peace on her bacon. I told our waitress after we paid and she seemed to genuinely care. I honestly find this disgusting and do not plan to come back to the fairly new Waffle House location. I wish the best of luck but please be more careful

Sat, Oct 19, 2019. As the pictures clearly shows there was a fly in my coffee. The waitress we had took my coffee and fly and tossed the whole brew that it came from. She brewed a fresh cup for me and apologized. There was one waitress there that didn't care at all as if it wasn't a big deal. Honestly it wasn't a big deal to me, but she shouldn't act that way. So if you go there to eat, stay away from the "eastern bloc" looking waitress. You'll know it's her because she looks like a retired USSR powerlifter that use to be on steroids. And they still charged me for my coffee.
