Wawa — Restaurant in Hope Mills

I have come to the wawa ATLEAST 3 times a week sense they opened, I loved the coffee and the workers however Today was a horrible experience. Paid $8 a coffee everytime and usually I have to wait because there's people in front of me that ordered However this morning that was not the case. After waiting 15 minutes and seeing the lady making the coffee start cleaning and putting stuff away i asked when my drink would be started, thinking maybe something had glitched in the system And they didn't see it (which would have been better than her just NOT doing it at all) and that was the reason she wasn't making it, but no, she got nasty and said she's making it then started talking quietly with another staff member. I didn't say anything I wasn't rude, i always smile and i'm always pushing my newborn in her stroller. One person can ruin somebody's whole day and it makes me not want to come back here, not if i'm paying as much as I am just to be...

So, the first WaWa I experienced was in NJ...MANY years ago. When we got ours here in Grays Creek, we tried it and WOW! This evening, 21 Sep 2025 we placed a pick-up order on our way home. Part of the order was an order of 3, garlic knots. When we got home and opened them they were hard as a rock and burnt. I went back over and the person I spoke with at the counter was Felicia, who happened to be a Customer Service Supervisor. I explained to her what the deal was and showed her. She told me to throw them out and they'd make me some more. Not only did they make me 3 more but threw in an extra 2 AND sauces! Nothing special, just new and clean. Nobody at the fuel desk so had to wait in line with everyone else. Windshield wash buckets were either empty or nasty dirty and most brushes were missing. No points on the app for diesel so really no incentive when you can go across the interstate and get 3 cents off for using the app plus points. 15 truck parking spots which were pretty full for the middle of the day. No showers or paper towels in the restroom and they are not affiliated with any fuel programs like nastic, mudflap or greenlane. Maybe the food is what they are hoping will get the drivers to stop, which is mediocre. 2 stars just...
