Peking House Chinese restaurant — Restaurant in Horsham Township

I wasn't even thinking when I was waiting for my food that they had orange powder to make orangeade on the counter, I come home to eat my 'orange chicken' and the sauce is water mixed with the powder, dry chicken on rotting lettuce with some orange slices. The egg rolls were dough with only cabbage inside. I spent 70 dollars and then 10 dollars to give a tip, so 80 in total and I feel so stupid because I can't even eat what I got. Never again. Absolutely judge a book by its cover with this place.

EDIT 7/20/24: Since I can't reply to the owner. I am reviewing the right place, I know where I spent money and wasn't satisfied, thanks though and I know you're a takeout place, I never once mentioned that I dined in there at the restaurant itself. And I meant every word.

PS: This is from a 'meal' I had in February and just now I get this 'kind' note. So you're saying because you're not 'fancy', your food can be inedible and you should be allowed to use orangeade powder for orange chicken? I never said it had to be fancy but for over 80 dollars, it should at least be something I can eat. That's wild that you view it that way. Best of luck...

I used to order from this place quite frequently, but over time, I encountered several issues that made me stop. I really dislike how the lady who constantly answers the phone is pretty rude and hangs up on you if you ask questions they don’t want to answer. Additionally, whenever I try to order for delivery, they claim they don’t have a driver available. On one occasion, they told me I had to spend a minimum of $30 for delivery, which I find completely outrageous. I’ve been ordering from them for a while and have never had to meet such a high minimum for delivery before.

When I called to place an order, you did not increase the rate for a holiday but raised it on a regular day and mentioned a $30 minimum for delivery. The person who spoke with my grandmother on the phone was very rude and even hung up on her. We are not 5 miles away from your location; we are actually only 1.4 miles away, right down the street. Ordered spring rolls and a shrimp w mixed vegetables. The spring rolls were mushy inside and the wrappers were a bit thicker than normal. The shrimp w mixed vegetables was fairly tasty. The brown garlic sauce was ok. It could use more garlic. The variety of veggies was nice, included carrots, onions, celery, broccoli, snow peas mushrooms and water chestnuts.
