Title: A Culinary Gem in Horsham - Five-star Dining Experience at Los Sarapes Restaurant
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Los Sarapes Restaurant in Horsham, and I must say, it was an absolute delight from start to finish. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming atmosphere that set the tone for the incredible experience that followed.
The food at Los Sarapes is nothing short of exceptional. Every dish was bursting with flavor, expertly prepared, and beautifully presented. From the sizzling fajitas to the flavorful tacos and mouthwatering enchiladas, each bite was a culinary delight. The menu offers a wide variety of authentic Mexican dishes, sure to please even the most discerning palate.
Not only was the food outstanding, but the drinks were also top-notch. The margaritas were perfectly mixed, the beer selection was impressive, and the tequila options were extensive. Whether you're in the mood for a classic cocktail or something more adventurous, Los Sarapes has you covered.
What truly sets Los Sarapes apart, however, is the atmosphere. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, with vibrant colors and charming Mexican-inspired decor that creates a cozy and inviting ambiance. The staff are friendly, attentive, and passionate about providing exceptional service, making you feel like a valued guest from the moment you arrive.
In conclusion, Los Sarapes Restaurant is a true gem in Horsham. Whether you're looking for a memorable dining experience with friends, a romantic evening out, or simply craving delicious Mexican cuisine, this place has it all. I highly recommend Los Sarapes to anyone looking for top-notch food, drinks, and service in a welcoming and vibrant setting. Five stars...
Read moreA solid "meh".
I got the Enchiladas Tapitas, which consisted of 3 enchiladas of 3 types, plus some rice with a cilantro sauce. It was very colorful, but the flavors were all very bland and samey. For the price, the serving size of the enchiladas was small, and overall I felt the dish was lacking.
I asked the server to recommend a tequila, since their sign says this is a tequila specialty place. He went to confer with the bartender, and I ended up with a single pour of Herradura Ultra, for which I paid $25. Since a 750ml/25oz bottle is only around $60, this seemed a bit steep on the markup for a single ounce. (For the record, I'm normally a whiskey drinker and asked for something that I might like. This turned out to be incredibly boring, and I'll probably avoid the "cristal" tequilas in the future. Live and learn!)
The staff were nice enough. I definitely got some of the feel of a trip to Mexico, especially in the sense of everyone being pleasant to the point of irritating obsequiousness, and overcharging los gringos shamelessly.
I'll probably try this place again sometime, perhaps for lunch. Or maybe not, as there are a great many other restaurants to try in the area, and my time in PA is limited.
All in all, I'd say that if you want an overpriced and underspiced Mexican place, give Los Sarapes a shot. They'll make you feel welcome and are happy to...
Read moreAfter having been for a couple happy hours and had good bar service we decided to go for a birthday dinner. Note requesting seating in bar area does not allow ordering from happy hour menu-you must be seated at the bar We ordered the fresh guacamole, and I asked (to make certain) it would be served with chips and salsa. Also ordered a plate of chihuahua nachos, and enchiladas Del Mar (shrimp and grouper) The guacamole was so thinned out and painted to the side of the stone bowl. It wouldn’t even stick to the chips. The enchiladas though tasty were 80% 60 count shrimp and very little fish. The bill comes and they charged me for a second plate of “Mexican nachos” to cover the chips and salsa served with the watery guacamole. I told the waitress we were double charged and she sent the manager over. Who argued with me about the charge before finally removing it. Yes the chips come with the guacamole, however the salsa justified the extra $7. Bottom line, decent Mexican food. We liked the happy hour. But will not return for dinner. Upscale prices for limited portions and sneaky billing. The manager should have just removed the extra chips (NOT NACHOS btw - no cheese) that came with the watery albeit expensive...
