Santiago's Family Restaurant — Restaurant in Horsham Township

Went to the Outpatient Clinic for the VA and was hungry. We drive past the Santiago sign and figured we would try it. It was close to noon, and there were about 4 tables seated with people. We seated ourselves and saw no waitress. She was in the restroom. Surprisingly, she was the only server available. The tables around us were not bussed. We sat at a clean table. The waitress came over and dropped off our menus and took our drink orders. We then ordered breakfast. It came. The potatoes were not hot, and there were barely and on the plate, and the skins were still on the potatoes, which I have never seen a clump of brown skins on a plate with my breakfast potatoes. I ordered them with onions, and there were none. I mentioned to the waitress when she was bringing our French toast from our breakfast order, and she apologized. About a minute later, she came over with a plate of diced salted onions. Anyway, I felt bad for the waitress, because even though she was the only one there, she had to do everything. Orders ,drinks, and answer the phones. This explains why none of the tables were cleaned off at all. She did keep up pretty much with all the patrons. Prices seemed a bit on the higher side, and the fact that there was a charge of 2.95 if you shared a plate. We didn't, but I have never seen this on any menu. Our meal for 2 Santiago breakfasts and a cup of coffee and hot tea, came to 30.16. Seems a bit high for two to eat breakfast. I don't know if we will be...

So like I tell people I'm a review connoisseur basically because it's either to help a business or basically for people not to waste their time, money and their efforts going to a business. So I found. This place on Google and figured I would give it a try due to the fact that was at work. I had time on my plate to get something to eat. I looked up a number of restaurants and found this quaint. This little restaurant beautifully designed, clean, and the staff. and town people were really nice. So as I first entered, I met Carlos, he greeted me at the door. I asked where was the restroom, he directed me to the restroom and I told him I would like to eat. He said yes, you can sit anywhere I like. So when I returned I met Sonia, who was my waitress. She was very soft spoken and Informative to the menu items. Personally, I was only in the mood for breakfast. So I ordered eggs, home fries, bacon, sausage and wheat toast with butter. And also had requested for my meat to be on a separate plate In which she informed the kitchen Immediately. Well, I was waiting for my food. Sonia was very interactive and communicative. So we spoke for a little bit. In less than 5 minutes my food was at my table. If I could give this restaurant (10 stars) I would, But we're only allowed to do (5 stars). The food was great, The atmosphere was amazing, But what I loved most, the staff and the people were really friendly plus the reasonable prices. It was a really comfortable place to eat. If you are ever Passing through or looking for a good place to eat in Horsham, PA. I recommend going here. I want to thank the cooks, Carlos, And my waitress sonia who took very good care of me and we're very hospitable. Thank you so much for a great experience. Entonces, como le digo a la gente, soy un experto en reseñas básicamente porque es para ayudar a una empresa o básicamente para que las personas no pierdan su tiempo, dinero y esfuerzos yendo a una empresa. Entonces lo encontré. Este lugar en Google y pensé en probarlo debido al hecho de que estaba en el trabajo. Tenía tiempo en mi plato para comer algo. Busqué varios restaurantes y encontré este pintoresco. Este pequeño restaurante está muy bien diseñado, limpio y el personal. y la gente del pueblo era muy amable. Entonces cuando entré por primera vez me encontré con Carlos, él me saludó en la puerta. Le pregunté dónde estaba el baño, me dirigió al baño y le dije que me gustaría comer. Dijo que sí, que puedes sentarte donde quiera. Entonces cuando regresé me encontré con Sonia, que era mi camarera. Ella hablaba muy suavemente y Informativo sobre los elementos del menú. Personalmente, sólo tenía ganas de desayunar. Así que pedí huevos, papas fritas caseras, tocino, salchicha y tostadas de trigo con mantequilla. Y también había solicitado que mi carne estuviera en un plato aparte y ella informó a la cocina inmediatamente. Bueno, estaba esperando mi comida. Sonia fue muy interactiva y comunicativa. Entonces hablamos un rato. En menos de 5 minutos mi comida estaba en mi mesa. Si pudiera darle a este restaurante (10 estrellas), lo haría, pero solo podemos hacerlo (5 estrellas). La comida era estupenda, el ambiente era increíble, pero lo que más me gustó fue que el personal y la gente fueron muy amables y además los precios razonables. Era un lugar realmente cómodo para comer. Si alguna vez está de paso o busca un buen lugar para comer en Horsham, PA. Recomiendo ir aquí. I'm a little confused about what I was served here. They gave me cold coffee ☕ (twice, one a tad warmer than the previous). My guest had really crispy corned beef hash (too crispy for them). My potatoes were ummm potatoes? 🥔 I was kinda surprised they didn't season it at all. I guess you are welcome to use the salt and pepper on the table?

My overeasy eggs 🍳didn't have any crispy edges (my preference) but they also weren't seasoned. The turkey links I ordered were rather chewy. When I say chewy I mean it (especially the ends). I feel like it was over cooked in the microwave 😩

I will say the two pancakes 🥞 were good. The powdered sugar was a nice touch!

I will give them another try but if we get the same thing I definitely will lower my rating here. I don't normally go out of my way to give a negative review but my whole meal including drink was a horrible experience.
