476 Eatery — Restaurant in Hotchkiss

4.7. We’ve been to 476 Eatery a few times and this is my first review of it. I had either forgot to take pics before diving in or we took it to go and that isn’t a proper way to experience and review, IMO. The service and food have always been very good and priced appropriately. Hotchkiss and the North Fork have really needed this Asian Fusion style for some time and we’re grateful someone had the courage to do it and is doing it well. With a blend of Thai, Chinese and Japanese cuisine and I dare to say even a splash of other Asian influences such as Indian and Vietnamese. 476 has delicate flavors, spice, bold, rich and more subtle curry dishes. Melt in your mouth Sashimi and favorite of mine Larb Kai. You can spice that up to fire and sweat it go with their standard spice and enjoy all the flavors that play off each other so well. They recently remodeled and expanded the dining room. The 4 star for atmosphere is, it’s fairly loud in there when you get a few tables as sound cascades off the walls and wooden floors. What a delight to get big city flavors in a small Western Slope town! This restaurant is small but has big full wonderful menu. We started off with the shrimp dumplings and crispy egg rolls. They were so good! I really could have eaten about 20 of the dumplings! Then we ordered the Thai Basil Chicken and the Chicken Massaman.

The Basil chicken had just the right amount of heat and was so delicious. The Massaman was so creamy and wonderful the avocado added another level of creamy texture. The coconut wasn't too sweet it was just right! Can't wait to go back and try some more delicious selections. I was getting my hair done next door, my stylist had a menu in the salon so I decided to pop in for lunch after my appointment! The food was SO good. I was only planning to eat a little and take the rest home for leftovers but I couldn’t stop! Super fresh and great flavor! Service was great, my lunch came out very quickly. They have a signature cocktail menu! I had the sesame chicken and the blackberry spark cocktail! I also got to peek at the new outdoor seating area! This place is a gem!
