Taco Hut — Restaurant in Hotchkiss

What seem promising on the outside was Actually a disaster.

Our take-out order was a number three and number four. The number three consisted of a taco and enchilada and beans and rice for 899. The number for consisted of three enchiladas for 999 no sides. We ordered three cheese enchiladas and one cheese enchilada for the number three on the menu. Upon opening the takeout an aroma that was the least bit appetizing came from the box. After getting over that I inspected the enchiladas to find out that it was uncooked in the middle. Nothing was melted or fresh. It was just cold cheese. Some thing like a cold corn tortilla with a generic Mexican blend cheese in the middle. Big shredded and cold. When I asking for a refund there seem to be confusion on how to work the machine. I would not recommend this place. Sad, but I truly hope they make it in these...

Hadn't been there before. A man that was working the front counter on 5-18-2023 was extremely rude when I didn't place my order fast enough. He rolled his eyes repeatedly and said which sauce do you want. I replied with hot sauce on the side. He didn't explain that it was red chili or green color chili. I was confused. He sarcastically said red or green instead of explaining that it was red or green chili not mild or hot sauce. I said your energy isn't good and it's offending me. He said there's the door! I left and won't ever be back. I will also not recommend this place. Don't work in customer service if you can't communicate or be polite! Food might be good, but I'll never know! Such...

Drove by the taco hut on our way to the north rim for hiking and we saw the line of cars picking up breakfast in the morning. Made the decision we had to stop for lunch on our way back to Delta. My wife had the taco hut burrito and I had butches burrito with steak. We both had green chili and this place did not disappoint. My biggest disappointment was I couldn’t order one of everything because it all looked delicious. Service was great, atmosphere was great probably one of the best burritos I’ve had in a long time and I did not feel massively stuffed...
