Cowboys & Aliens Ice Cream and Arcade — Restaurant in Hotchkiss

Great concept. Fun games. Nice People. The only grip I have is the ice cream. 3rd Bowl Icecream is pretty bad compared to any other ice cream I've had. I don't understand why so many places insist on carrying "local" products only, even if they are sub par.

I'll definitely go back and play some games, but they would get way more of my business if they carried regular icecream.

I think that Third Bowl Ice Cream definitely has its strengths in the lactose free selections, and its wonderful that they do. Certainly there is a huge market in our valley for people that prefer these options. I've talked to many friends in the valley who have similar opinions. We all seem to think that the typical dairy flavors like chocolate, vanilla, etc, lack flavor. It seems like "more ice than cream". I'm not familiar with the variables in making icecream that would cause this, but I know that a ton more people would come in just for icecream if there were options like Ollies used to have in Paonia. Seems it wouldn't be too difficult to offer both. We are pretty devastated that there is nowhere other than 133 brgr where you can get normal icecream in the summer anymore. The TLC kitchen taking over Ollies and replacing the options with all Third Bowl is pretty sad... We had high hopes for your establishment, but will still come in to...

Absolutely in love with this place. I love any place that sells Moxie. The retro arcade games are kept in amazing condition, they have all kinds of awesome and fun drinks. They have really cool retro/obscure drinks from around the country and world you can buy off the shelf or get all sorts of custom drinks and sodas.
