IHOP — Restaurant in Houlton

We stood for a good 5-10 minutes to add our name to the wait list and the hostess ignored everyone standing in front of her. When asked about the list she got snooty. The place was not busy and yet people stood there waiting for tables for 20 minutes or more. Also another lady went up to out her name on the list and the hostess not once acknowledged her so she left upset. No one has any idea what they are doing or how to be an actual waitress or hostess. I was a waitress for years and you NEVER blame your customers or treat them rudely when you are in the wrong!

Our waitress was delightful and prompt, however, we wasted about an hour and a half even waiting for food. The service at this restaurant is absolutely despicable. No one seems to understand how to be a waitress and ensure customer satisfaction.

The food was cold, and wasn't until my food was brought out that they said they were missing the main ingredient on my breakfast and offered something different. Again, the waitress was lovely but the overall experience was terrible. We will...

I wish I could leave stars, but we never even got a table. We waited in line for over 20 minutes (which was fine, as we were told it would be a 20 minute wait). There were a few people ahead of us, but looking into the dining room, there were tons of free tables! It seemed like the issue was not enough servers on duty. While we were waiting, 2 ladies got up from their table and stormed out, letting those in line know that they had been waiting at their table for 2 hours for someone to take their order! We decided to just leave and go somewhere else.

I was really excited to have breakfast here today as it been a long time that I've been to an IHOP. However my excitement was short lived. It was busy so I understand things take longer and that's ok, but we waitied almost an hour for our food. I had the eggs benny which was luke warm at best, the hashbrowns were over cooked and 1 of my eggs was definitely not poached. Our server had taken our order promptly, but we didn't see her again until she took out plates and brought the bill and no one checked to see how how meal was going. I hope that things improve but I don't think I'll attend to this...
