Church's Texas Chicken — Restaurant in Houma

I went to pick up Chicken and I didn’t want to pay $31 for the chicken so they had about double bundle package or something like that and I said I don’t want that. She said the little girl at the window said it takes 25 minutes I said oh no I don’t wanna wait. 25 minutes. Someone in the background say hang up so she hung up the phone so I went in the store and the girl that was in there said she was a CEO and she started screaming and howling at me and telling me all kinds of stuff and then when my daughter called her, she lied and said all kinds of stuff about she offered me free food, Mr. Renis Churches all the time I don’t know the girls name that was there before this girl had never seen this there before and I know it got a lot of new employees there she comes and say oh you talking to this 14 year-old child this is a child. I was not talking rude to the child. I told the child that I did not want , the chicken for 25 minutes for the chicken at the bottom you need to pull that tape because I will not take that employee spent too much money at churches my family has I live on this side of town and to take that Shayne and the other girls that worked there I have never had problems with them I don’t know the name. I can’t remember her name the Vietnamese girl the guy never had problems with them but this thing whatever you got working now shouldn’t be working. I’m sorry I need to talk to you personally because I will not have no one screaming at me I will not lying on me. Just like another person had said, I have a love-hate relationship with this Church’s. Mrs. Rose was awesome when she took my order at drive-thru! She told me about the daily special and how I would save money AND get more out of it instead of making my original order. I appreciate how she had my best interest at heart and was so sweet!!! Very great service! BUT you will always have to wait FOREVER for your food. It got to the point where I was waiting 30 minutes in the parking lot, and I finally decided to go in because I told myself if it’s past 30 minutes, I’m going in. Inside does not look appealing at all. The dine-in area felt like a sad lobby. Very cold-tone vibes. I’m not too sure how to explain it. When I spoke to someone, I noticed there were only three people working. Mrs. Rose at drive -thru, a gentlemen at the fryer, and the lady I spoke to at the front lobby. I hope they get more staff because I can tell they were getting burnt out, but they still had a smile on their faces when I spoke to them. My chicken seemed like it was old too so I’m not too sure why I waited so long….it really does suck that you will have to wait a very long time for your food (even when it doesn’t even look fresh), but if you see how short staff they are, you’ll understand. This is ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!!!! The wait at this store is ALWAYS. 30-45 minutes BEFORE ordering then another 30-45 after ordering, ya’l need to get more help it’s pitiful to have to wait that long after driving 15 minutes one way to get here, then realize they didn’t get your order right, on a positive note good to see them cleaning the outside, inside next……..UPDATE 4/23/25, decided to go back here since my last encounter, not only did I pay for white meat and received dark, my chicken was raw, and since when do you all serve apple pies with no frosting?
