PJ's Coffee — Restaurant in Houma

Since the original crew left, this PJ’s has not been good. I still keep going back because in the past, I could depend on PJ’s for a good cup of coffee. Today was the last time I will go there. First, the girl taking orders had no idea what I was talking about when I ordered something off of their suggested menu board. Cancelled that and got my all time favorite King Cake latte. Ended up throwing it away. It tasted burnt, just like Starbucks. It was horrible. No flavor other than burnt beans. Im sorry, but I will never trade PJs out for Starbucks otherwise, I'd have to be insane or incredibly foolish. Overpriced low quality coffee with food dye and artificial sweetener, no thanks! However, when I go to PJs and order a PS soy latte, I get REAL coffee with cinnamon, fall spice flavors, and a warming smile from the baristas. Not to mention the cafe atmosphere and sense of community is just the coffee beans on top! Look, my usual go-to is Downtown Jeaux, but that is not always convenient for me as the location is only in downtown Houma. Ordered inside due to the long drive thru line. It appears there were 2 employees on a busy weekday morning. Waited approximately 10 minutes to order and another 10-15 minutes to receive my order.
