BreWingZ Restaurant and Bar — Restaurant in Houston

I have eaten food from here twice in the past six months. Both times it tasted okay and I did not see any mistakes. While I haven’t been inside before, the drive thru seemed to work as well. No dim lights when I visited and the drive thru workers were never disrespectful. However, there were two major turn offs that I did not like about this place that made me question returning again. First, the timing was incredibly long during both occurrences. Also, both times there were no other vehicles in front of me. The first visit took about 30-40 minutes to complete. Granted, it was food for about five people so I’ll give them that but as a fast food joint people expect it a lot sooner, around 15 minutes. The second time I just ordered a burger and fries. That order took almost 30 minutes. I was waiting for so long and I was the only person there. I couldn’t help but wonders what the heck the employees were doing in there. My second issues revolves around the price. The wing deals do not seem bad but I am not a big wing guy and tend to go towards the beefier options on the menu, like burgers, tacos, etc. This place has a nice diverse menu but the problem is the price. I paid quite a lot for that burger and fries (I believe around $11). That is a diner’s price minus the tip. I figured the food would be portioned well but that was not the case either. The burger patty couldn’t have been more than 5oz’s and the fries would have all fit in a McDonalds medium cup. This last trip I paid $11 for an average small burger with an average amount of fries and no drink included. I then waited almost half an hour to receive it in a line that consisted of only me. In response to the owner I figured I would update my rating and give a detailed review on why I chose three stars. BreWingZ has been an amazing experience for me since the first day I got hired.! With the friendly faces that come into our location on a daily, weekly, and/or monthly basis gives me something to look forward to each day. It is a fast paced job that is perfect for a outgoing person like myself, and not to mention that we have the best fried chicken wingz you will find in Texas! Narcissa, Maggie, Alma, Jesse, and all of my other fellow coworkers have made me feel very appreciated; instead of waking up thinking “ugh I have to go to work today😑” I say on my days off “ugh I wish i was at work today!” ☺️ Everyone has been very patient with my newly learned Spanish and I’m learning more everyday. Even though sometimes it gets very busy (especially Tuesdays!) we all come together as a team and do our best to ensure unbeatable satisfaction to every customer that walks through our door, orders online, calls on the phone, or visits our drive thru! From the delicious food, clean environment, the friendly customers, and the loving caring people that are employed at this establishment it is a absolute joy to be an employee of BreWingZ! The owners of this chain really need to evaluate their business model. I have had issues at the majority of their locations and have found that the only good location is on I-10 by D&B. The Tomball location sends out cold food that gets you sick. The location off 45 and Tidwell makes you wait for 5 minutes without being acknowledged after seating yourself because there is no one tending the hostess booth and tonight I walked into my favorite place to get wings only to have a young woman walk up to the register and just stare at me with a look of almost disgust. I asked if they were accepting orders and was just told “yea” she looked away and says nothing else while standing behind the register. I just walked away and left because there is nothing to say in a situation like that. The food smelled great and it is always great at this location but their service is below poor and the management needs to be more attentive to the front staff....
