Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Houston

Since the re-opening of this location (after Harvey), the customer service has been terrible. The first time I went there after it re-opening, it took about 45 minutes for my family to receive our shakes. First of all, my mother wasn’t able to receive what she wanted because they did not have any strawberries. She was highly disappointed. But, we finally received our order and left immediately. After a while of not going there due to that incident, we went back again today for their $0.79 f. When we were placing our order, the employee continuously asked what we said which was pretty annoying. Then, they brought the order out and said that our total was $10.45. We then showed this employee the text message saying that their slushes were supposed to be $.79. The employee took back the order to tell the manager about this incident. So, we just sat in our vehicle awaiting our correct total. My mother asked the carhop why was the wait so long and she stated her manager was taking care of it, but did not know how to. So, the manager had to contact the general manager. After a while of waiting, we were fed up and just told them not to worry about our order. I do not recommend that anyone goes to this location because I want everyone to have the best experience...

I wish I could give this place zero stars. Staff here is terrible. Passed by there at 5:30 pm took about 5 min. for a guy to actually come up on the speaker (I actually started to look around because I thought the place was closed since no other cars were around) . I ordered a strawberry limeade large and a strawberry milkshake he stated there was no medium so I got a small, I wanted a Oreo waffle cone, the guy stated ‘at this moment I will be out of waffle cones’ .. okay.. so I ordered a sonic blast large and he stated ‘at this moment I will be out of large’ so he proceeds onto my total and says the ice cream machine is out but due to the inconvenience he will not charge for the strawberry limeade .. as I drive out the limeade was completely flat and disgusting.. . worst service ever! I do believe the guy at the window was doing everything with malice and as a owner I would definitely not have people like that work in my facility! Definetly not sure how this place makes any money when everything is “out” or “out of order” the employees are either rude or incompetent! DONT WASTE YOUR...

1st time recently here the corn dogs i got were mushy on the inside as if bread melted on the inside . I couldn’t finish it . 2nd time here i didn’t even get my food after pressing the button every 15 m. Twice . For them to tell me Each time it’s coming out now all i had was a slush small tots and corn dogs . I literally could’ve walked in and made the food myself it was suppose to be that quick and simple to make . I finally just got fed up and left . I honestly don’t even think they put in my order because i never got a total . The operator just stopped talking and button light turned off . It’s clear they don’t care to be tipped. Only thing they had to do was scoop some tots , drop corndogs and they alert you in less than 3 they’re done . And mix a drink . I worked at sonic i know how quick making that meal is . They even brought food out to a vehicle that was sitting and didn’t even order anything or pay. no other vehicles in the stalls and busy drive thru because they apparently no one is able to multi task and tend to both drive...
