Im a man who NEVER post reviews for restaurants unless the food was that amazing i had to say something to help business or, two, management made some type of weird atrocious decision that made me so angry and made such little sense, i literally wanted to go out of my way to hurt the business....I mean the food can be bad and i still won't bother to write a review...What made me mad and why did i lose all respect for Buck's pizza.
I live literally 3 miles away,
I gave them my address, ordered delivery, paid by card, and was charged for the order,
They call me back 10 min later after charging me and tell me they don't deliver to my area even though i'm 3 miles away from them off Bay Area blvd.
I say ok....understood, but know one said anything, i already was charged for the pizza, and im literally 3 miles a way so from a Management standpoint i would think it would make much more sense to just deliver the damn pizza this one time seeing how i paid for it and Im freaking only 3 miles a way......
Response from manager, a pause, like he thought about it and then said no im sorry we will issue a refund....
THAT IS THE EXACT TYPE OF TERRIBLE MANANGERIAL DECISIONS THAT SHOULD LEAD TO A BUSINESS FAIL IN THE END!!
LOGICALLY JUST A HORRIBLE HORRIBLE DECISION AND YOU SHOULD ALWAYS EXPECT REVIEWS LIKE THIS TO COME AS A RESULT
because it just does not make sense.....common the customer was already charged, and lives 3 miles away...just let him be aware that ya'll will do it this time but typically don't deliver to my address....end of story, get paid, dont look like you have no clue how to run a business, everyones happy end of story....

About a month later we decided to order a pizza and I bring up the mix up and the offer of the free pizza, the cashier couldnāt find any record of it and it apparently was not recorded anywhere. I was a bit disappointed by this because I absolutely do not like complaining to a small business and am a non confrontational type of person, I never want to be seen as someone trying to pull a scam. However, the owner got on the phone and completely took care of us! He offered to pay for our pizza and even gave us free cheesy bread. That experience has made me a customer for life, the owner absolutely made the right move, fixed the problem and trusted his customer when he had no real evidence I was telling the truth.
I will now go out of my way specifically to order from Bucks, even though I now live a bit farther. Iāll also be sure to recommend Bucks to friends and family (my mother said sheāll try it tonight) But really we donāt need an excuse, the pizza is absolutely phenomenal and my girlfriend and I are obsessed with it. You canāt beat the price either, seriously.
