The place is super cute and we were very excited when we got in based on the menu and vibe. Menu has a great variety of vegetarian, non-veg, and light options as well as a lot of cool drink options. I give it a 3 because the food was good, but didn’t blow my mind and the service was friendly but lacking.
Food: Cast iron skillet chorizo and eggs - it wasn’t at all what I imagined. It came in a miniature cast iron pot served with bread on the side. The pot was so small it’s hard to imagine there was more than 1 egg in there. The food was tasty, but not something I would order again. It felt more like a chorizo stew with the beans and peppers and the flavor profile wasn’t what I imagine when I think of chorizo. Banana and Butter Scotch Pancakes - the flavor of the banana and butter scotch was good but the pancakes are very thick and dense. Overall good, but hard to finish. Avo Toast - it looked good, but the bread it’s on is pretty thick and I prefer my bread toasted. My mother-in-law didn’t order it how it’s made (she took off the hummus), so I would give it another shot. Vegemite Flight - I’ve heard so much about vegemite from Aussies and I wanted to try it. In my humble opinion, it’s terrible. However, this review is not based on that and more on how long it took to come out. The cheddar biscuit they served it on was good. Pineapple Frozen Marg - not boozy at all. The texture and flavor is great because it feels whipped and airy, but I almost forgot it was supposed to be alcoholic because it just tasted like a smoothie.
Service: the waitress was very friendly but missed the mark on a few things. We wanted to share the Vegemite flight. The food took a while to come, so it would have been great to get that early on. Unfortunately it didn’t end up coming out until after all of our food. Drinks took FOREVER and we got the easiest drinks to serve because it literally just comes out of a margarita machine. My husband ordered a marg right when the food came out and didn’t get it until after the check was paid. We would have cancelled it, but my mother in law secretly paid without us knowing. The waitress didn’t seem to express any urgency to the bar to get our drink any faster since we were already done with our meals and paid out.
Overall: I didn’t hate it and I would come back to try other things, but it was a...
Read moreRocky start…Strong finish 4.5 Stars We came in for an anniversary breakfast-after 29 years, we’re better in the AM…Made a reservation for 8:30-wasn’t very busy, but that changed PDQ. As diners increased, so did the number of servers. We were not in a rush, and enjoying a leisurely pace to our breakfast; however, after seeing 4+ tables that arrived long after us receiving their food, we were starting to get a little frustrated. Our server had already updated us that our food was almost ready after several tables got their food. 15 minutes later-still no food. Brandon, the manager (acting as host) stepped in. I’m not sure what the issue really was, but shortly, we got our food. I ordered the classic eggs Benny with greens and hash browns, and my husband got the cast iron chorizo baked eggs and we split the blueberrry and maple pancakes. The food wasn’t piping hot, but the flavor was on point. The hollandaise was rich and flavorful. Eggs were poached perfectly and the biscuit added that little something extra. My husband complimented the chorizo baked eggs several times and said, “I’d come back.” High praise if you know my man… The blueberry pancakes were very good, but the star was the buttery maple syrup and the blueberry compote. To be clear-I don’t like compote-too sticky, too gummy, & way too sweet-but this compote was top-notch. Perfectly thickened, barely sweetened if at all, full, ripe blueberry flavor. Yum! Other high notes: the nitro drink thing with salted caramel, the fluffy OJ and my coffee-snob partner praised the drip coffee…twice. When the bill came-one entree and the nitro drink had been comped. But, even without that, we would have come back. It was clear the hiccup was only with our ticket and stuff happens. The food was great and the service worked hard to give us a good experience. We’re looking forward to coming back on our own and with...

I recently returned to this place for a late lunch on a Sunday, hoping to have the pleasant experience I had during my last visit. Unfortunately, this time around was markedly different and quite disappointing.
My main issue was with the service speed and order sequence. Despite arriving and ordering before others—just a bowl of kale salad, which typically isn't time-consuming—I noticed that later arrivals received their drinks and meals first. Seeing others being served pancakes and breakfast plates while I waited added to the frustration.
Although the server was friendly, the lack of promptness and efficiency failed to meet the basic expectations of service. Even upon finishing my meal, it seemed that attention was disproportionately given to select patrons, which was absolutely ridiculous.
As for the salad, the lemon zest was too powerful, good thing the avocado was there to keep the taste balanced. I wouldn't order it again though.
Just got lunch here. I got smoked salmon and Nutella French toast. I really liked the Nutella toast bc the texture was very airy and light, so it still leaves you full but not in a way where you feel too stuffed to move. The smoked salmon was a side dish. Despite it being only $4, there were good amount of smoked salmon slices.
the service is good, nothing special. big parking lot right next door shared with velvet taco. the restaurant itself has good aesthetic ambience and is spacious. beautiful bar.
I do recommend this spot for breakfast or lunch. I see myself coming back here to try other dishes. Their menu is extensive. I did see a lot of...
