The owner feels that she is in Nigeria and customer service is of no importance. Someone referred me to this restaurant almost two years ago. I just wanted to cater a large pan of Jollof rice. I spoke with the owner, informed her of what I wanted...she then told me to send a deposit to her via Zelle. I asked her how much her deposit was, she states.."send anything". I thought...okay, sure...and I Zelled her $10. My thought was Zelle is not like a credit card, so in the event that something happens, I cannot request my money back...10 dollars is low risk. Again, I've never eaten at this restaurant and someone I know, in passing, suggested this place. The owner then sends me a text advising that $10 was too small of a deposit for a large pan, which in 2022...I believe it was between 50-70dols, if that. I told her, "ma'am, you did not give me a definite amount, how much do you want?" She did not respond and I came to google to read her reviews. It took me 4 minutes to read the reviews and considering our exchange where she did not give me a definite amount, but balked at the $10...I promptly requested for my money to be returned. She initially agreed to send the money back and then the next day she declined the Zelle. I warned her that I would advise of her unprofessionalism via a review online and I kept it moving. I'm only doing this review now, because I'm looking for a Naija restaurant to order soup from tonight and I came across her restaurant when I googled. It is my civic duty to advise others of who they are dealing with when purchasing food from this restaurant. If you can avoid giving someone a measly $10 back..should we trust to eat the food that your...

I phoned this location to place an order for egusi and okro soup, during which the representative inquired if I liked seafood for the okro soup, to which I affirmed. Upon arrival, I was provided with Titus Fish for seafood. Titus fish! I informed them that I do not eat Titus. Titus icefishes are not considered to be seafood. Notwithstanding my complaints, no changes were made; however, my card was charged $54.13 for a single plate of egusi and one ball of pounded yam, which was all we ate.

Read moreTheir pepper soup is always good flavor wise. Just wish they would offer different spice levels. I eat spicy food a lot but the last time the spice level was ridiculous. I’d suggest giving people the option to add more pepper if they’ll like as opposed to it being overly spicy. Last week it was perfect, last night it had my mouth on fire! It actually made me mad how spicy it was lol..I’d honestly probably order it every week, but I cannot stand the spice level sometimes. I’ve also had other friends who love to eat their food, but it’s just too spicy. Just something to consider if you want more business.
Update they have improved on making it too spicy..I order it almost every week...
