We came here as it was really recommended by relatives. The service was good the ladies were really nice and made sure we were served good. We got Gorditas de harina and it was really good and toasty!! My partner got the Machacado. For the price 10.95 we were expecting the machacado, beans, potato etc. but it came with just beans. Really disappointed. My MIL got the Huevos Rancheros and it came with more side dishes for $8.25 I got the Chilaquiles Rojos and I expected a NL chilaquiles and I got chips and red salsa. Overall. I would like to try more stuff, and would comeback. Would I recommend? Sure for a different experience

Small establishment corner Fuqua-Kingspoint. Food made like northern Mexico, real mexican flavor. Flavor, variety and consistency. Made with love. Breakfast, lunch and dinner. Family owned, family run. Mother and daughters prepare, cook and serve. I haven't enjoyed food like this in the US for a very long time. Brought memories. If you like real mex food this is the place. Home made machaca (dehydrated meat), real chile relleno with picadillo, very clean tasting menudo. Three meals in two days in same place, I've broken all my records. I'm sure you'll love it. Enjoy. I believe my mom is back in the kitchen cooking.

This has been another spot in my searches I’ve been meaning to stop by and check out. Several positive reviews and it’s easy to tell why that is. They are attentive, friendly, and just on point here. The food was great, severing size is plentiful, priced right and easy on the wallet. Talk about freshness and authentic Hispanic flavors! I wish I had a bigger appetite to order and try more items. But there’s always tomorrow to try some more. ;) I will definitely be back and bring more people with me. Don’t take my word for it. Until next time.

My cousin and I came to El Oregano for lunch. We were served complimentary thick corn tortilla chips and excellent red salsa. My cousin had "guisado de res" which is a type of beef stew. I had "tacos al vapor" with a meat of my choice. So I ordered two corn tortilla tacos with barbacoa and two corn tortilla tacos with chicken in a green salsa. It came with a side of shredded cabbage. I had a mango flavored agua fresca. It was mildly sweet and really refreshing. The food reminded me of my mom's cooking from decades ago.

I even ordered menudo to take home. I ate some of the next two days and really liked it. The menudo has a lot of flavor with both tripe and hominy. I stored it in my refrigerator so the fat in the menudo congealed at the top and I was able to remove it.

I'm so glad I found this little Mexican Food restaurant. The cook and her daughter operate this restaurant. I could tell that they take pride in their food. I will definitely be back to have more different dishes from this warm and cozy little restaurant. Also it's next door to a very...

The Guosado de res is the best I have ever had at a restaraunt. What makes it so good is they use the right amount of comino for me and mom. It taste like homemade. The waitresses are all friendly but be aware the inside is small and it is hard to hear at times, you may have to wait at peak times. But it is worth it. My sister had the Chuletazo and eggs which is a thick cut pork chop with eggs and it looked great. We saw a couple at the table next to us tearing up a menudo and she had the sopes and the way she was eating them I know ahe liked them. I want to go back for the costillas en salsa verde and I will be back. This is the kind of place that you would like to find empty and all to yourself on a rainy day where you could have a meal that taste home cooked and have a coffee or a bottled Mexican soda. Next time I will get pictures...

I went in for brunch with two friends. The establishment has one waitress. The cook is the owner, and they serve quite small portions for the price. I paid $56 for 3 people which surprised me because as I said the portions were small. The coffee is quite bad tastes watered down. The service could be better along with the portions matching the price. I also gave a review on their facebook page and was BLOCKED, which in my point of view I believe that to be very unprofessional on their part. Overall I would have given them a second chance, but if the owner is unprofessional I don’t believe it deserves a second chance. The food does have good taste I will say, but they have trouble taking the fat out of the meat, so I was served a lot of meat fat. Do as you would like with this review. Thank you...
