I recently ordered a cake for a special occasion from your bakery, hoping to experience the same level of quality and creativity that I had heard so much about. However, my experience left much to be desired. Despite providing a detailed reference photo for the decoration I desired, the final product was far from what I expected. The design was poorly executed, and it was evident that the decor quality did not match the price I paid (I.e. using paper as part of the decor when the picture clearly showed fondant). When I raised my concerns, I was disappointed to be told that the issue was due to poor communication on my part. While I appreciated the bakery’s attempt to rectify the situation, the second cake still fell short of expectations. The decoration remained subpar, and it was disheartening to see that, even after the attempt to fix it, the quality did not improve significantly. As someone who had heard glowing reviews about your bakery, I had high hopes for my experience. Unfortunately, my expectations were not met, and I left feeling disappointed. I believe that clear communication and attention to detail are essential in a bakery, especially when it comes to custom orders. While my experience may have been an isolated incident, I hope that you will take this feedback constructively and strive to improve the quality of your products and customer service in the future. Overall, my experience at your bakery fell short of the reputation I had heard, and I am feeling disappointed with the outcome...

The first two pictures are the reference pictures and the last two are what I picked up the day of the party. I mainly wanted it to come out more like the reference picture that has the number 27 on it. I like how nice and simple the design looked. I might just be overreacting but I am very disappointed with the outcome. When we first planned the design for the cake we talked about color, the lettering, what area of the cake we wanted writing on, where we wanted the color, very detailed which was a great sign for me. On pickup day it seemed like nobody could find exactly where is the cake I had come in to place the order over a week ago. After a couple of minutes out comes what seems like a poorly made and rushed-out piece of cake. Everything we had talked about was disregarded and the excuse I was given was the bakery ran out of fondant the day before finishing off the original design idea. A bakery running out of fondant?? So that was the best they could do for me at the last minute. I was disappointed. I’ve been coming to the place for years and had always had great treats and good service but today was 100% disappointing. I wish they would have communicated better to the customer that way I could have planned something...

I could honestly give them a 1 star as the cake was dry. But what really got to me was the fact that my friend and I were targeted the moment we walked in. She and I were in there looking for a cake for my father and just bc of the fact that she was black and I was with her we were followed around. I even asked the girl why did her other coworker have the need to follow us but she just stood there. She did answer questions in regards to the cake we were looking for so I figured the decent thing was to make a purchase as she did assist. We bought a slice of cake. But truly am disappointed for the fact that we were followed bc of the color of my friends skin. The bakery had 5 more clients who were Hispanic and they were not treated the same. I have attempted to call the bakery but they do not bother in answering. I will NOT be returning. The cake was dry for a chocolate cake. And no this is not because I am black race card as I am Hispanic but more of the fact that even though we confronted them about it they disregard what we said and acted like racial...

I usually drive from Katy to Pasadena for a capricho cake. The fruit was dry so was the cake. The cake was so dry. It’s crazy how much the cake has in fact changed. The customer service was so rude when I came in no one was there in the shop the lady refused to add nuts to the cake since she already closed the bag. The cake has definitely gone down hill. I been buying this cake for years the fruit was stale and old on top of the cake. I should’ve listened to the reviews I wasted a 1.5 hour drive from Katy during rush hour for nothing but a disappointing cake. $85 for nothing but a dry cake. It was a 10” cake with dry mangos on top. I disliked it so much.
