Nice and quite park in a peaceful neighborhood. The grass was just being cut all around the yard. There is a well fenced pool and it was not open. Some friends and coworkers had fun playing basketball. There is a good atmosphere for families and children to walk, play basketball, soccer, baseball or just sit down and enjoy the shade and the oxygen under the trees there. Tables and seats for picnics are scattered and of course there are portable onsite restrooms. Dogs may be the luckiest visitors because the walking and the grassy area is big and spacious for dogs with too much energy. Read moreI grew up a block away from here. I know every blade of grass in this park. I've had birthday parties at the tennis courts where half of Dobie showed up and the cops chased us all off. I have some of the best memories there and at the sand pits located behind the tree line. Fishing, skinny dipping, and drunken bar b ques. Anyway, yall don't want to hear all that. So yeah, great little park. For as big as it is you would think it had more to do but basically it consists of a play gym for the youngens, 2 soccer fields, a baseball diamond, 1 swing set, a basketball court, and a pool. There is a community center where events are held along with other amenities such as a public swimming pool, a playground, walking/jogging track, basketball court, soccer/football field, and a baseball diamond where games are held.
