I found this restaurant while googling restaurants near me while my daughter was getting her hair done. Elmer's Bits & Pieces had great reviews, so I had to try them. I have to say as a first time customer, I was very happy with the customer service and food. I ordered the catfish and shrimp dinner with yams and macaroni. 2 large catfish and 8 shrimp along with a piece of cornbread came with meal. Price was very reasonable as it was $21.50. My stylist ordered the catfish dinner with yams and macaroni and 1 piece of cornbread came with it also. That was $16.50. The red koolaid hit the spot. There was no banana pudding available today but I heard it is a favorite as the reviews also reflected. Hopefully next time I come in, I will be able to get it. I could not eat all my food per the fish and shrimp dinner. I shared with daughter but still have leftovers. I'm sleepy now. Overall, the food was great. The macaroni is not your traditional macaroni but it is pretty good. I love the shrimp, yams, and fish was seasoned very well. I was too full to try cornbread. You wont be...

I had been hearing about Elmers on Facebook and really wanted to give them a try. The first two times that we went was during their business hours and they were not open. Third time’s a charm Iguess.

The owner was there during our visit and answered all of our questions. He was very nice and informative. The inside of the restaurant was really clean. Overall, the food was okay. There was nothing special about it. Also, the owner told us that they ran out of cups for the koolaid. I felt there should have been canned drinks available atleast if a drink was included in the price we paid. The fried chicken and the Mac and cheese are the only things that I would consider getting again. The pork chop was extremely tender but I didn’t care...

Decided to make the 40 minute drive over here, only to make it there around 2:00 PM and find they were closed. The sign above the business was missing and the doors were locked.

Checked their social media for any announcement of their closing temporarily or permanently and there was nothing notifying customers of any closure.

Came here before and had a great experience. I had hoped to bring someone to share the awesome experience I had before, only to be left disappointed by the closure. Due to seeing they have responded to reviews recently on here it appears they just felt like closing for the day or something during their normal business hours.

Photos are from my previous experience. The food...
