I purchased a dinner with additional sides from the Cullen location yesterday through Uber Eats. I’d called before to inquire if they had corn bread to go with the meal, as on previous days it said they’re out of it on UE What’s a southern meal without cornbread if it’s something you want to complete your meal. They said they did after talking to about 3 people. I also asked if the drinks were included, as they are when I go in and order, it was. Whenever I order through UE, I never get a drink. I now realize that FF never gives the person picking up the order a cup, as when I go in and get a order.Because the cornbread nor picture slot wasn’t even on the menu for me to order an additional piece, I asked if I could purchase an additional piece, they had my payment information. The gentleman took my name and told me he would assure that the drink and additional cornbread would be added. It was not, so I called back and got nothing short of pure rudeness and hung up on, when I was told that my order didn’t come from there, and had no ticket for me and hung up on again. I live about 7-8 minutes away from the Cullen store and the other store they have is well across town on Mesa, so in the timeframe of placing my order to when it was delivered, a helicopter must have delivered it, not the lady in the car. I called back asking to speak to the manager, as I told him I don’t mind buying whatever I want, and supporting our Black businesses, but what I don’t pay for is rude customer service. Although the food is good, and had I been rude to any of them, I surely would understand, I was not. When I go get a dinner order, all are courtesy to everyone, so I was amazed overall. We pay additional fees for the food through any delivery service, the manager told me they don’t make any money off those plates. If they didn’t I guess UEats is making all the money. Poor customer service is unnecessary when it’s the customers that makes it possible for everyone to be able to survive and thrive. Let 30-50% of the customers stop patronizing then customers would see all types of sales on meat trying to pull customers in hopes that they buy from the steam table to. Don’t bite the hand’s that feeds your company continue to grow not only in the store but only as well. Poor customer service is unacceptable in...
Read moreCalled to find out was on the menu and was talked to very rudely. “The something on the menu everyday”. Tone inflection just ghetto; customer service is not in the job description of the servers. Nor the lady the answered the phone. I was TOLD you can’t make that order over the phone; like I’m suppose know… The person on the phone said very rudely you have to make that order online. I explain to her I’m not familiar with process and being rude is not necessary.
Received an email notifying me that was order was ready for pickup. Made the order online and went to by some items at the meat counter; the young man that waited on me was very positive and helpful. I paid for the meat and shared with the cashier that I was going to put the food in the car and I would return to pickup online order. Returned to get the plate I ordered and was over other customers and neglected by wait staff all the while I’m saying I hear to pick up and order.
That’s not my job! One said The other kept talking under her breath indiscriminately. A young woman walked in 10 minutes behind and was instantly waited on the to go line; picked out by one of the ladies preparing plates. The other one was so rude to gentleman she was waiting on; he had ordered a den o d plate and this disturb her to no end. Will that be all… Finally, the rudest one yelled out a name. A few minutes later a came from the front and asked what I ordered. I showed her the email I received. She prepared my food and was on my out of the store and stopped to talk to one of the cashiers and she was pointing at who had spoken to me rudely on the phone.
I shared with her how the staff was back at the restaurant counter and she agreed that Farmers is in the people business and I should have not been spoken to nor treated like that.
Hopefully, this review will get read the higher ups in management and something will be done about the rudeness.
Yes, the food is delicious and they serve...
Read more(Deep sigh) Y'all, this was the spot. I regularly stop by after work to grab breakfast for me and others. (I mean at least twice a week and a minimum of 3 plates each time.)
Lately, there has been shells in the eggs, (which are almost always overcooked), crazy salty pork chops, and burnt pancakes.
At this point, the only consistent thing is the server with the extremely bad attitude. (Older lady short wig, bad/no teeth.) I don't have enough time to tell you how I've witnessed her being rude to customers (myself included), arguing with the meat market guy in front of customers, and mumbling things under her breath.
(I wish businesses understood that everyone can't work in the front or front facing customer positions.)
The final straw was when I was in line earlier a group of about 4 people came in for pick ups.
I watched her flat out ignore these people. She didn't acknowledge them, say she'd be with them in a few minutes or anything. It was as though they weren't there. She helped about 4 more people in line as they stood waiting. One of the young ladies spoke and asked about her online order. The guy from the meat market side helped her and the the others. He mentioned to the server she could have acknowledged the waiting customers and she began mumbling and going back and forth with him. (Who behaves like this at work?)
Watching this unfold was crazy insulting because I've placed online orders. I've been unacknowledged while my pick up time was ignored and disrespected by the whims of this server.
I can't support this. I no...
