Hartz Chicken Express — Restaurant in Houston

I've visited this location several times in the past and always had a decent experience. However, today I waited at the drive thru for several moments and no one requested my order so I went in. There was a sign on the drive thru speaker that read " Disrespectful customers will not be served". The guy, possibly owner, was finishing up with a customer and completely ignored me and made no attempt to acknowledge that I was standing there. He stirred a few items and proceeded to take an order from the drive thru. He told the cook to throw fries, stirred more food, continued to ignore me and walked back to the drive thru station to take a second order. Again, I was ignored after he finished that task. I felt disrespected and unwelcomed as I tried to patiently wait. Ultimately, the guy's unprofessional and poor customer service caused me to walk out in frustration. I asked for an 8 piece mixed, no thighs at all. I get home and there are 2 thighs in the mixed. I usually get this often. I don't eat chicken thighs and I haven't in over 50 years!! I want what I want and am willing to pay whatever it costs. The employees were so busy having conversations over to the side to customers that were leaving (probably family, seeing they were very friendly and all). So watch closely when they are getting your order ( it will be wrong 50% of the time). Also on that note, one is taking orders, another is bagging and no communication is going on. I'm going back tomorrow morning with those stinking thighs and jump down...

On Nov. 9 2024 at 9:23 pm I visited this restaurant. I Waited over 15 minutes in drive through with only one vehicle in front me at the window. They allowed walkup orders at the drive through window. The worker was extremely slow and he could not give a receipt due to a computer problem.The crispy chicken was oily, over cooked , dry, and slightly burnt. The greens were too salted to eat after only spoonful. The cooked food was uncovered and placed in brown paper bag. The only thing good was the soft drink. AWAYS GET SOME TYPE OF RECEIPT FOR PROOF...
