Jack in the Box — Restaurant in Houston

As we walked in, the all Hispanic staff ignored us as people of color and had us stand there waiting for 7 minutes. As we waited, I saw the cashier making shakes and put his finger in the whip cream. I also noticed a female employee making a separate shake but placing a dirty lid that was "discarded" by the other cashier onto the customers shake. When I say "discarded" I mean the male cashier had trouble placing the lid on the cup so he took that lid off sat it on the counter and grabbed another lid to use. Then the female employee came behind him and picked the dirty lid up off the counter and used it for another Customer's shake. I witnessed all this during my 7 minute wait time only for a new customer to walk in after us and was serviced right away. None of these terrible employees were wearing name tags but I have a picture of the main one who I feel was displaying racism. The customer behind us was a well stacked latina and we were a couple of black folks. I spoke up about him seeing us stand there waiting well before the latina lady arrived and so our orders should have been taken first. I informed the racist that we had a mobile order and the name of our order. He looked at us, said nothing, then proceeded to cater to the other customer. He had our orders wrong and they weren't even ready yet even though we placed the order 15 minutes prior. I do not recommend this filthy and racist location to anyone and a regional manager needs to come inspect this...

This is a good location and the food is usually on par with a JITB that cares about their food quality. The staff is bi-lingual and able to serve the surrounding community. However, this location is dangerous in the early morning due to homeless man who tends to hang around the store itself. The homeless man shows up daily and is very disgruntled. He throws soda cans at female customers, openly coughs on women post covid, harasses the employers and female customers. Understandably, there is not much the location can do about the situation; they call the police but he usually shuffles off in a rant before police arrive. It appears that there has been a trespassing warning issued but it does little to nothing as the homeless man literally sleeps in the drive thru lane-- which is so dangerous because you can't always see him in the drive thru. The store is clean and well maintained-- it's also decorated with holiday messages and a Christmas tree, very welcoming. They are aware of the situation with the homeless man and have done their best to resolve the homeless issue but short of calling law enforcement there isn't much more they can do. I believe this issue is more less do to the increase of homeless ppl overall-- this may be the new norm for a lot of businesses. Otherwise, I would recommend this location because you have to be aware of your surroundings no matter...

Horrible!!!!! I went there on last night August 15 at 7:40 and I was treated Horribly. The manager act like she did not want to take care of me. She looked at me and walked away and the staff acted like they didn't want to take care of me. I'm thinking, what have I done?

I was there picking up someone order. I work for a food delivery company. As I was waiting, I noticed the staff was looking at me but no one wanted to take my order. I was literally standing there waiting on someone to ask me about the orders I was there to pick up or something, maybe why I was there? I stood there for a minute waiting. No one came. However, I noticed when other customers came in they immediately took there orders and out the door the customers went. I'm still standing there waiting on someone to ask me something. I haven't ever felt so discriminated like this before. I stood there for about ten minutes until someone finally asked me what I needed. Mind you the manager saw me and never asked what I needed. She totally ignored me. This is a shame and whomever own this franchise need to go and see how they can work on having a more diversity work place because that was ridiculous 🙄 😳 😒
