After working a 12 hour shift and just getting out of the gym I visited my neighborhood Whataburger on Harrisburg Blvd. They were temporarily closed and I new I would have a bad experience at this location. However I took a leap of faith and did indeed have a bad experience. I ordered #2 whatasized with a breakfast on a bun sausage nothing to fancy and then when I arrived at the window I asked for fresh fries the girl at the windows attitude completely changed. She said "drop fries for one order"! She asked me to drive to the front and slammed the window. A few moments later they brought my order and did not bring fresh fries I decided to just it go and drive home. When I arrived home my sons order was wrong and I called to advise I was on my way back and when I arrived I stopped in front of the doors as I have always done in my 30 years of eating whataburger when my order is incorrect after hours. The manager Rene advised he couldn't and then asked me to come around through drive through. By the time I got to the drive through there where about 7 cars ahead of me. WhEN I arrived at the intercom I advised that I was asked to wait in line while my order was being remade. The individual asked me to drive to the front. Then I was waiting for some time and decided to get out of my car to waive someone down, the manager ignored me and I had to call back. I advised they asked me to drive to the front and he started to yell at his employees and came to the front asked me for my receipt as I was wanting to waste my time away from my son and argue with them. He took my food and brought my order with a horrible attitude and then still got my order wrong. I worked in fast food before and did it with grace and was friendly and had pride as a cook. So it bothers me when I don't receive the same service. Plus we are spending money here and it's not cheap. This will definitely be the last time I visit this location. I am the Director of Operations for a real estate brokerage and would never speak to my employees the way Rene did. I feel bad for them and am disappointed in his customer service, as a manager his job is escalate the situation not to make the...
Read moreVery bad customer service! I ordered two meals under the same receipt mind you the young lady’s name is Alexis. Now I’m not sure if she was the same young lady that was at the second window but, as the young lady took my boyfriends money to pay his half the young lady waited for my card so I gave her my card and she proceeded with the payment. As I get home I get a notification from my bank showing me my balance and I seen she over charged me. So I called and asked for the GM a lady named Nancy answered and said she was one of the managers so I told her what happened and she seemed understanding but once we got their to pick up the money she had us wait in the line again and once we pulled up to the window the young lady that was at the window just gave us our money and basically expected us to just leave, now you’re talking to an old Whataburger employee here and as I remember if we mess up on an order or with money basically anything that causes the customer to have to drive back we usually give the customer a pie or a small shake as courtesy for messing up but as of these employees they didn’t even say sorry for their mistake nor try to give us anything as courtesy for us having to drive back over their and still have to wait in a long line, no instead we had to ask for the shake and Nancy the so called manager was being all rude about it but it’s okay y’all lost us as customers for good. We will NAVER be returning to this unorganized Whataburger and I say unorganized because we asked for two sweet teas and got two unsweetened teas. NEVER AGAIN!!!
And Nancy for your info “The customer is always right!” So if we ask for a strawberry shake we should get a strawberry shake. I know y’all don’t run out of strawberry shakes, that is one of the three flavors that y’all should always have in stock, I know, I used to work at...
Read moreI've been going to this Whataburger literally ALL of my life. Never had a problem. Until not too long ago. The workforce demographic changed completely. Then the quality of service really went down in all aspects. Coincidence? Maybe maybe not. What I do know is that the wait times are longer, they obviously don't listen to you when you place your order thru the drive thru, probably cause you can see them playing, talking, and laughing and not paying attention to you while working, and then they have the nerve to get an attitude when you try to correct the order they wrong for not paying attention! I just ordered 2 #13's. They guy on the other end REPEATEDLY asked me what size and what drinks I wanted. After I REPEATEDLY answered him, he STILL got my drinks wrong, and told me that those were the drinks I ordered! 2 cokes, one large. I got two medium sprites. And he still fought me on it even though he asked for my name after he had taken down my order. SMH. Then I get home and the gravy might as well be water. The soda is damn near creamier than the "gravy". I called to and told them I was going to go ALL THE WAY back to get some proper gravy, and I was told that no one else had complained, which was probably cause they had gone thru the drive thru and were either on the freeway already by the time they found out or didn't care enough to complain, either way, I was told no one else had complained and that I'd have to wait for them to run out until they cooked another batch. Really? THIS LOCATION REALLY NEEDS TO SHAPE UP AND HIRE SOME COMPETENT...
