Came by here today at 330pm. The girl working the drive thru window is lazy, doesn't know the products that you guys have and is rude. I'm from Cali and we have large size cafe sua da. I asked her if she has a large, she said yes, I asked can I order two large coffees with whip cream? She then goes "No! We don't have large coffees!" Okay that's fine. I asked if I can get two regular coffee with whip cream and the sweet butter toasted baguette. She goes "We don't carry that here." Girl, I've gotten it there before and at every Lee's I've been at. We pull up to the window and she hands us coffee with no whip with boba straws. I asked if she can please add whip, she was so annoyed, grabbed my drink and charged me extra without telling me. She got even more mad when I asked if I can get regular size straws. I went inside to see if there's the sweet butter toasted baguette, they had it (refer to pic). What a crappy employee and customer service.

Visited Lee's sandwich in Houston. Thus location is near many other asian restaurants. I ordered the special combo sandwich for $5.94 after tax. I was very impressed by the bread; had a soft inside and crunchy exterior. Decent amount of filling as well. I wish they had cheap and good banh mi sandwich's in Chicago. There is plenty of seating inside. You order at the counter and then wait for your number to be called. This place even has a drive through. I also saw that many people ordered fish majoo (a custard filled cake) so I ordered 2 to try. They were made to order and were scalding hot. For $0.55 each, the little dessert was tasty after a filling sandwich.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely the best bánh mì and Vietnamese iced coffee in Houston! The bread is always fresh and crispy, the meats are flavorful, and the pickled veggies give the perfect crunch. Their combo sandwich is my go-to—so satisfying and affordable. But what really keeps me coming back is the cà phê sữa đá. It’s strong, rich, and just sweet enough. You can tell it’s made the traditional Vietnamese way—perfect for a morning boost or mid-day pick-me-up. I even take home a bottle sometimes! The service is fast, the location is clean, and the menu has great variety. Whether you're Vietnamese or just love great food, this place hits the spot. Highly recommend!

I have been a loyal customer since the day it has open :-)! The original Lee's restaurant has started on Bellaire close to Corporate Street in between Ranchester Street and in the same location there was a restaurant called Biah Mi where he used to work at and copy their recipe Vietnamese sandwich and ingredients where he used to work there:-(! Some of the employees went and work and quit and work at the Lee's Sandwich place the first one restaurant that originally started! The difference between those two restaurant he owns the first one serves hot Vietnamese soup called Pho which is also delicious and becoming very popular first then the Vietnamese sandwich and they also serve other Vietnamese platter selection:-)! Now he is expanding to California I am extremely amazed that he has these ideas that no sandwich shop has which is fresh homemade I call it French baguette and they sell fresh I mean really fresh they have their own machine you can look at and watch them make it fresh and how they make it I think that is very unique and fascinating but the sad thing about it the texture of the bread sometimes does not come out crispy I like it crispy from the outside and soft in the inside and to me it looks like cream puff but in the mini size they make that fresh too and it is so delicious and not too sweet what I love about this particular pastries that when they make it fresh it smells so good out of the whole restaurant and if you want to order it they give you like this lunch box almost the shape of kids meal box from McDonald's to contain all those hot fresh delicious mini cream puffs :-)! This place is great to take students from school to have a field trip and education for all ages to learn how to make bread and pastries and especially get to have a student discount special prices which I wish that the owner will allow it or the manager to do that where everybody could explore other cultures delightful taste and food to experience:-)! They have smoothie and tapioca And many different type of drinks for you to choose from the sandwich itself fresh pickled onions and carrots and Chinese parsley and cucumber and Serrano hot pepper and my most favorite of them all which I always ordered extra on it it's the Goose liver parte and the special brown colors Sauce almost look like Chinese soy sauce and also this other sauce they put on which is and taste like mayonnaise and butter mixed together which is very tasty and delicious they put on the sandwich and ham and other sorts of cold cuts whatever you don't like or allergic to you can always ask them whatever you don't like to take it out and not put it into the sandwich which is wonderful because at least you know they make it fresh when you order and it is better then wasting it and you picking it out of sandwich and you could help the restaurant to save some money and keep the sandwich prices down and they also have spring roll and flan and croissants many selection to choose from:-)! Or you can order this Vietnamese style BBQ Beef or porks sandwich I don't normally order it because sometimes it comes out too chewy and tough:-)! The sandwich is huge and it is a fantastic price not bad at all this place is very crowded on the weekend you also can watch TV in the restaurant :-)! There is a lot of Vietnamese men that loves to play games or just hang out together and smoke out there and you can also sit out there in the patio and enjoy the weather :-)! They have a restroom and plenty of parking which is free for everyone even for handicap people :-)! All ages is welcome :-)! I would never get tired of eating Vietnamese sandwiches and I noticed the other type of restaurant are starting to copy the recipes and different kind of nationality people that enjoys eating this too the sandwiches is becoming popular:-)! I hope you all enjoy the sandwiches and drinks and pastries and shopping of all different type of candies and food as much as we do for 3 Generations that is how loyal customers we are and how much we enjoyed...

I've been buying sandwiches here for the last 6 years. Today I've experienced the worst customer ever and won't buy at this place any time soon.

I came out from a massage place nearby and ordered 2 sandwiches through the drive-through window. Normally, I would get change immediately at the first window, and often by a girl. Today cost was $7.39. I only had 1 $10 bill and 1 $1 bill and tons of coins in my car. Not wanting to get more coins, I gave the guy the $10 bill and 39 cents. He didn't give the change of $3 back to me but asked me to wait at the next window.

After some time, the girl came out to give me the sandwiches but not the change. I asked for the change and she disappeared inside of the window for quite some time. Then came the guy starting accusing me of being wrong, that he only took $7.39 from me. I told him that I gave him the $10 bill and he could check the camera. Then he started saying "I don't want to argue with you, blah blah blah..." I didn't want to argue with him either. I just wanted my money back. He asked me to give my phone number, I refused. He disappeared inside the window for a long time. I had to knock on the window.

Then came the "supposedly" manager. She said that I could give her the phone number, at the end of the day, they would count the money. If there was some extra, they would call and I had to come back to pick it up. That was ridiculous. I then got mad and yelled that it was their mistake, why should I have to come back to get the money? I demanded her to give the change back. I told her three dollars was nothing but the way they treated me like that, I wouldn't let go. I'd rather give that money to the homeless than them.

After some time, the guy came back and gave me $3. I then gave them my phone number just to prove that I was honest. If I wanted to cheat, I would have told them that I gave them a $20, $50 or $100 bill. Why would I only say a $10 bill???

I will never buy from this place again. Worst customer service ever. When in doubt, especially only a few dollars, they should believe the customer. Also, it was a busy time, so a chance for the cashier to be wrong is much higher than the customer being wrong because they know what bills they have while the cashier might mix up with other customers' payments. It's not a good way to handle the situation.

The reason I give 2 stars is that I do like to get the sandwiches here and have been doing so for about 6 years already. No more from me from now on though... Also, I didn't have any problem in the past with several cashier girls, only the guy this time "I don't want to argue with you..." Really? You are wrong, the customer asks for the correct change and that is...

This place is a throwback. I use to go when it was on Beltway and Beechnut way back when. They have Baguette and Croissant Sandwiches, Pastries, Smoothies, Coffee, and Teas. I usually order the Eggrolls, and Chicken Wings. I know that times and prices have changed. I don't understand the quality as much though. The wings come in little drumettes and wingettes. The have gotten extremely small. The Eggrolls have more wrapper than the ingredients inside. I ordered at the drive thru and they told me to drive to the next window to get my items. The lady gave me my bag. I noticed that I didn't have any duck sauce for my eggrolls. I tried to wave at the guy inside to tell him and he looked at me crazy and shook his head and gestured for me to go back thru the drive thru but there were people behind me. He did not get up and come to the window, even though he was less than 5 feet from it. I blew my horn to get someone's attention and I stayed there. Finally, the lady came back to the window and I told her that I didn't get any duck sauce with my eggrolls. She gave them to me, but that should've been in the bag already. It's sad to say Goodbye, but Quality and Customer Service are very...
