Shipley Do-Nuts — Restaurant in Houston

This is the closest Shipleys to me , so I come here often , mainly cuz kiddos ask constantly for them .. Yesterday Sunday , in the evening went there and from the very beginning the fat curly haired lady was walking up with such an attitude, so I knew this was not gonna go well , but I still smiled and stayed positive.... Well I asked for what I wanted and she rolled her eyes and said "we don't have that " so I replaced with a different flavor , and she rolled her eyes and smacked her lips and said "not that either" I said fine do you have have plain glazed and she said yeah and went for donut holes and my order , when she came back she murmured my total and I didn't hear her so I handed her a 20 and she said she didn't have change , so I asked again what's my total and I turned and asked husband what she say , and he said I couldn't hear her , so I asked again and got closer to her window to hear her .. She answered with a huge attitude and not even loudly so I said you don't got change for a 20 Eben though my total was like 10 something, so husband said card? I asked her and she said umm yeah .. But she rolled her eyes again! So I yelled at her that she needs to change her dam attitude and she looks stupid .. If she don't wanna work there to go elsewhere! She closed the window and had the nerve to lock it 🤣🤣 why she lock it ?? Scary a$s Rude , unprofessional, unpleasant, HORRIBLE customer service!...

Scary place at night. My car broke down around 10:15pm. I made it into the parking lot and started calling tow trucks. I was pan handled with in 5 minutes of being there. Then about 10 minutes later 2 males started walking the parking lot scoping me out. I guess they liked they odds & headed in my direction. I could see they we're speaking with one another but couldn't make out what they were saying until they were 20' or less I heard one say to the other"Naw, ?#*& that". I guess they finally noticed the 80 pound German Shepherd in the back seat. After they left I walked to the drive thru to order some donuts and that's when I found out just how close I actually came to getting robed. The manager on-duty ask me "What are you doing here, earlier in the day two other people have been were robbed at gunpoint that same day. I guess I was suppose to be#3.The only reason I'm giving this establishment three stars is that the store worker was courteous enough to serve me while I was broke down and not in a vehicle And he warned me of the danger that I was in. Do not visit this location. The service is horrible because of the neighborhood. It is treated unfairly because of the staffs ignorance to culture and making the assumptions that all african americans are ignorant and threatening. The manager with the blue nail polish locked my self and others out of the location after she was very rude to me in the drive thru and thought by locking us out would suffice her behavior. I wanted her name to file a complaint and this was the reaction. She then proceeds to film me like a animal and I filmed her as well because she thought that was going to be intimidated by her filming. I go to my car call corporate for the owner to call and make the matters even worse. No one should feel disrespected any place they go and spend their money.
