Ms. Betty’s Cajun Kitchen — Restaurant in Houston

Black people need to stop supporting this nonsense. When I googled food places near me I saw Ms. Betty's. With that name and it being a Cajun restaurant in Sunnyside, I assumed this was a black owned business and decided to support it.

When I walked in there was nothing but artwork of black people, including rappers etc..Some with gold teeth. Then I saw that they had an Oriental staff. This isn't a black owned business in mostly black neighborhood, but they want black people to believe it is.

On top of that, this business along with TP Seafood across the street (also owned by orientals) are the only businesses in Sunnyside only allowing cash payments. Most likely to avoid letting the IRS know how much they're profiting. People support these businesses in our neighborhoods and they don't even like us. They can't stand us. They look down on black people and it's time for us to start supporting black owned businesses.

We would not be supported by Asians if we opened a business in Asian communities. We probably wouldn't even be approved for a permit. No matter how good the food is I'm not spending another dime here. Stop supporting businesses owned by people who don't love...

Food is not as good as it used to be. UPDATE: No wonder prices are lower, tried her again and it was worst then before.. These reviews must be paid because the food is definitely old and nasty! I saw a review about her being rude and hanging up and she did just that tonight to two customers, while I was waiting for my food, and then told me, the customers were stupid. I heard both callers and they were simply asking for a remake because the food was old and one said the food was wrong. She hung up in both of their faces with no remorse, refund, credit or apology. Customer satisfaction is NOT priority here.. Didn't think when i received my food that it would be wrong and old as well. Never recommend anyone this place and DEFINITELY...

New to the area wanted some good for after being disappointed from a few restaurants someone told me about this place and I'm a foodie some I wanted to try something simple but good it's always been my test at new restaurants so i order a wing dinner (regular no sauce or flavor)an the beacon cheese burger basket with fries I added the chili an cheese to it.....BABY the food was amazing wings were 5 whole wings seasoned to perfection the burger was a double burger the chili cheese fries was delicious crinkle fries which I love buy the way some much food for $21.an some change my boyfriend loved it as well he said he will be going back an ME TOO the only reason I didn't give it a 5 because I have to try...
