Old Fashion Bar-B-Que — Restaurant in Houston

When I went there I thought I was going to spend maybe nine bucksI ordered the double meat plate with potato salad and beans and I got about a quarter pound of beef brisket which wasn't really bad it was it was okay wasn't great and a leg and a thigh of chicken that was dry old and had a granny taste to it when you chew did it taste like it was Sandy year that sand in it or something it was not good at all. I was very very disappointed with the food especially playing those exorbitant prices. Went there for the first time today and the power was out. She said that she can still give us food because the food was still warm and tried to charge $43 for just 2 sandwiches with sides and drink. Ended up just getting the sandwichs with drink and no side for $30. Considering the circumstances of their power being out and me being a first-time customer you think they'd give the sides for free. Usually when I get barbecue it's like $10 a sandwich plus you can get sidesand drink for less than $5. I will definitely not be coming back here and do not think they handled us well. I ate at this restaurant today. It was horrible. I could not believe that there was nothing on my plate that was good. The chicken was not smoked. it was baked or boiled. They put bar-b-que sauce all over to make it seem like bar-b-que. The beans were too spicy. The potato salad was also nasty. I am from Louisiana and I have never seen black people who could not make potato salad.... and I am black!!!!! If I did not have to return to work, I would have taken this food back.
