Hungry after a 12 hour workday, I Googled somewhere to eat near me. Among many restaurants that showed, āPEPPER SALTā also popped up. I was intrigued by the name and immediately looked up the reviews. The reviews drew me and I had to stop by and try a few dishes on the menu. When I arrived I didnāt expect the place to be quaint and small, yet cozy enough to occupy for dine-in and carry out. The food smelled delicious and patrons were enjoying their meals as other came and went. I got my order to go. I was tempted to stay and eat but I decided to drive home to dine. Well, needless to say, I tried the Spicy Basil Beef and Fried Chicken Dumplings⦠šØāš³āa š delicious. I ate the dumplings before I got home š¢ and Iām just now finishing the Spicy Beef. The portions are large enough for a big guy like myself. I thought Iād save some and take the rest for work in the morning, but to no avail, I had to finish my dinner š ⦠if youāve read this far down, then youāre curious enough to go and try āPEPPER SALTā a solid 4.8...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreQuaint place, but TASTY plates! We tried the infamous fried rice with crawfish and kimchi....oooooWE!! SO good! Flavor in EVERY bite. Try adding their garlic soy sauce to this dish, but it was definitely fantastic without it.
My teen ate the chicken dumplings and enjoyed their crispy external texture and flavorful moist interior. Their TEAS are SO potent and delicious. I absolutely loved it, even without sweetener. We had Jasmine tea, and black tea. Perfect for cleansing the palette when eating spicy garlicky food. I will definitely come back for more entrees one day soon..
If you can't get a seat, take it home with you for sure. I'm not paid for this... Just a regular guy who sat in the parking lot at Beck's Prime and changed his mind on eating there to try something new, so I stumbled on this place using a quick Google search for food near me, and I'm glad I did. I'm really picky when it comes to Asian food because some places leave an aftertaste, but this food didn't. Cooked to order....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! New to the neighborhood and excited about it!!! A charming restaurant right at Beechnut and Chimney Rock. The first thing that was so striking is the absolute genuine character of the owner, very welcoming and (I've never used this descriptor in a review before and it is necessary) peaceful (yes you read that right and you need to experience it š)... then we ordered quite a variety of food... started with the pork fried Dumplings- best dumpling wrapper I've ever had, very generous with the pork and absolutely delicious!!! Then had Pepper Salt corn (yummo), shrimp tempura (wowie, you won'tbelieve the size - super delish and their cocktail sauce is a must), Buffalo crispy wings (SUPER meaty wings and a generous amount), and finally ended with the egg fried rice (I was super full, but it tasted so good I kept having "just one more bite"!!! Welcome to the neighborhood, Pepper Salt!!! We will be back...
